"Are you going to stand there and stare at me or are you going to try and fight me?" I turn and see Esdeath and with her are six others including Wave.

"What do you want?" Selan tightens his grip on his swords, "Here to kill us yourself now? Tired of us?"

"That's not why I'm here." Esdeath takes a couple steps towards Selan, "I'm here for you and your sister."

"I won't let you touch her!" Selan says through clenched teeth, "No matter what!"

"Where's the other one?" Esdeath asks smiling at him, "Did he finally give up on you two and leave you? But I can do without one. I'm here for your sister mainly. You see I have spies all around the city and I received a report that Anna here crafted a very powerful weapon and armor. I had to see it for myself and followed Wave out here. Anna do you have any memory of your real parents?"

"Shut up about my parents." I stand up looking at the ground, "You know nothing about them!"

"Anna," Selan turns back to me, "what's she talking about?"

"You don't know about her past or her parents?" Esdeath laughs under her breath, "Your little sister here has the ability to make new Imperial Arms, and she's nearly completed the one she's wearing. She's only missing a certain danger beast."

"The one the weapon is made of." I finish. How could she know? I told no one about my legacy.

"She's the last person in the world that can make Imperial Arms." Esdeath looks back at the others, "Stylish, wasn't it the first ruler of the Empire who made the Imperial Arms?" The man nods, "That's what I thought. So that would make Anna here the rightful ruler to the Empire."

"My parents left that life long ago!" I grit my teeth in anger, "They don't want anything to do with you or anyone else and I'm with them. I left them for a better life and wound up in that village years ago."

"Anna that can't be true." Selan sinks to the ground, "We vowed not to keep any secrets from each other."

"This was one that couldn't get out." I look past him. I was so close to completing my weapon and now I have to get out of here with Selan. I don't want him captured because of my dumb mistakes.

"Capture them." Esdeath says, "Don't let them get away."

"Selan! GO!" I leap in front of him to catch a sword between my blades. I've been hiding my fighting abilities for some time, but I'm still no much for any User. I have to hold them off even if it means my capture. I can't let my brother die for me. I turn my attention to the girl in front of me. She's my age maybe a year or two older. Her black eyes show no emotion as she strikes at me. I block every blow, but I'm tiring fast. She's too fast for me to keep track of.

"I want to add you to my collection because your prettier than me!" She says to me, "But I can't because I'm under orders." Her next strike sends me sliding against the ground and into a tree.

"A brave but futile effort." Esdeath walks up to me, "Stylish you got that pill?"

"Yes, general." I hear more footsteps approaching, "All she has to do is take it and she's ours."

"And you're sure it's going to work?" Esdeath asks, "I don't want this to end up failing like your last plan."

"Don't worry, it'll work."

Cold hands grip my jaw and I'm staring up into her blue eyes. I can feel her strength even if she isn't doing anything. She's been regarded as the Empire's strongest and if these six are scared of her, then I should be as well. Ice forms around my hands and feet. Now, I can't escape or use my venom against her. She's smart; very smart. I was waiting to stab her so I can slowly watch her die with my own eyes.
