Ichi finally woke up a few days later. I can't keep my mind off of the Wild Hunt. I will kill them all and end this war if it's the last thing I do! I won't forgive anyone who's dared hurt my friends and family. Not only did they destroy my home, they killed my family, split us apart, and even had us turn against each other. I'm finally going to get the revenge that my family has been wanting for so long.
With so much time for thinking, I've came up with the perfect weapon for Ichi. For her weapon, I won't make the same mistake I did to myself. It'll be a double sided kunai called Marasu. I want to make it a surprise to her. Since the fight, she's been so down that I'm worrying about her. I know that Ren was only doing it out of self defense, but Ichi shouldn't have gotten into the fight. It wasn't just a fight between siblings, it was a fight between ideals. Ren sought a peaceful path to ending the war when in the back of his mind, knew it wasn't possible. He was only looking out for me. He was afraid that if I confront Esdeath, I'll lose and die. I don't blame him, I haven't seen Esdeath fight, so I don't know what to expect. She's on my kill list, but underneath the Wild Hunt. Maybe Crow will be able to deal with her. He does have a promise to keep and I don't doubt his skills. He was holding back in our fight. I don't even know what he can do. His Teigu is intriguing and I would love to study it more, but he won't let me near Shinorensa. The spiked chains can punish a body if they wrap around it and the blades themselves can be used from a distance or for close combat. He's know as the Blood Killer and I'm extremely interested into what he can do with his blood.
I only want to finish Marasu before the war enters its final stages. I've been working on it since my talk with Crow. I've got the molds and the metal for it. The blades shouldn't break easily. Ichi's a nimble fighter and only the lightest metals would suit the blade. This is the first time I've ever made a double sided blade. Getting everything perfect is essential for the balance of the weapon. If one side is off by even a fraction, it'll be ruined and could spell disaster for the user. The centerpiece where you hold the weapon will hold its source of energy or power. I've decided to go for electrified ore. It's rare and can only be found after a thunderstorm. The ore doesn't stay fresh for long and since it's been storming for the past few days, gathering the ore was easy. The electricity would only stay with the ore if I smelt it correctly. A few trial and errors later and I finally got the ore to smelt right. I take the centerpiece out of the forge and set the ingot in it and wait for the metal to cool. I cut the slits each side to fit the blades. I make some small rods so that the blades can be changed easily if they need to. I take the blades out of the moldings and fit them into the slits. I'll have to let them sit before I sharpen the blades. It took me that long to make one and I want to make two. I sigh and get to work on the second set.
After another few hours of work, I finally finished the last set. I sharpen the pair and test them. They don't really suit me, but they should work perfectly for Ichi. I set out to make them look as ornate as I possibly can. First, I paint the blades pure black and wait for the paint to dry before adding on the design. Since Ichi helped me find Kohryu, I want to make it after him. A dragon in the center of the blades with a scarlet outline would make them look amazing. Another few hours go by and I finally finish working on the blades and now they are completely finished. I get a box and seal it. I want Ichi to open a gift. I hope that she likes it. I feel bad for not talking to her for a few days, but this will be worth it.

I find Ichi hanging around outside looking up at the stars. This is the first clear night we've had in ages. After the fight with Ren, the air was so dusty and black from the fight that we never got to see the sky nor did we have time to star gaze. The Empire's soldiers were at our heels the entire way out of the city. I'm glad Crow was there; I wouldn't have been able to carry both Ren and Ichi out of there by myself. Part of me still doesn't trust him, but I really can't speak for myself. I've gone back and forth between Night Raid, the Jaegers, and being a loner a few times in the past.
