Another day, another layer of pain. I'm trying my best to move on, forgetting the woman that I used to love.

She just used me for money, A golddigger without filter. I can't believe that I fell in love with her.

Broken again for the fourth or fifth time, Maybe I'm just unlovable.

All the girls that I loved left me.

I'm here at a bookstore, Maybe books will give me another angle in love or help me move on. Besides, I need new addition in my book collections.

I took a basket, and make my way to the aisles of books. The smell of paper filled my nose, made me feel happy for once.

It was mystery that took my day, It made the basket almost full.

I saw a book, 'The Burnt House'. It made me think if it's a horror or a mystery..Maybe both?

I reached my hand to it, I touched something else. A soft hand that belonged to a girl.

"I'm sorry, You could have it" She said quickly, A blush on her face.

"You touched it first, How about you have it?" I smiled, maybe she's really interested in reading that book

"You sure? Maybe they have another copy of this?" For the first time, A girl is really nice to me and also not breaking my heart

"It's okay, I got a lot already" I showed her my basket, Almost full. She's a good person for considering my side

"I got a copy of that" She said, pointing at the blie book that was titled House of Secrets

"Really?" She took my interest, A bookworm?

"It's somewhat complex with a tinge romance" She explained, I saw a pink pigment on her cheeks again. She must really not comfortable or just embarassed of the situation

"I'm Aaron" Introduced myself, So she could be comfortable and maybe a friend won't hurt

She hesitated for a second before taking my hand and say her name.

"Elizabeth but you can call me Lizzie" She smiled, Letting of my hand.

"Lizzie!" We heard a voice behind her. Two person was walking towards us, a man and a woman.

As they come closer, I saw familiar faces.

"Aaron? Is that really you?" It was Chris and Scarlett. We've met on a project that Tony made and became close friends.

"Yes, It's me" I sighed, scratching my head. We hadn't saw each other for months because of the woman that I loved.

"You okay bro? Sebastian told me about what happened" Chris gave me his comfort, patting my back

"I'm fine, I'm okay. Just moving on...again" I said, I saw Scarlett whisper something to Lizzie. Looked at me and smiled sympathetically.

"Lizzie got the same case too, The asshole left her for a stripper" Scarlett's sentence made us look.

"The asshole did what?! We're going to beat the shit out of him" Chris reassured her, He took his phone and dialed someone.

I saw her, the sad smile on her face. She caught me, lowering her head like she was a disappointment
