Fate. I didn't believed it at first but now, It changed my life. She lifted my world. I can't believe we would me again, It's been a long time when I saw in the rain.

I'm waiting for Chris, We planned to have a match today. Its been a long time since we practiced, a year or two?

My phone rang, It was Lizzie. I quickly answered my phone.

"Good morning Aaron" I smiled at her voice.

"Good morning to you too, Day one of the bet. Are you free tonight?" There's a new restaurant that opened yesterday, I want to bring her there.

"Yeah...Hold on for a sec....Its almost done Scarlett" I heard her saying, I can also hear the sizzling pan.

"You cooking?" I don't really want her to be burned or something because of me.

"Yeah, Scarlett has a day off today. She said that you can come to dinner, If you craved for homecooked meal" I love her good news, Lizzie and homecooked meals.

"You just made my day, How about dinner tonight?" I asked

"Sure..I need to go now, See you later" I heard Scarlett calling her, They're going to eat breakfast

"Have a great day Beauty" Before hanging up, I just waited for her reaction. It was a sweet laugh filled with joy, I love it.

It was an hour when Chris finally arrived. I took my bag and keys and left. We headed to the kickboxing gym.

"Bucky and Clint will be there. Just a little reunion" Chris smiled, We stopped at the red light.

"How about Tony?" I asked, Tony is the only reason why we had this squad.

"He said that he'll try, Let just wait for him to arrive with a crazy entrace" Then I remembered Chris' birthday, Tony smacked Chris in the face with his cake.

We arrived at the gym around six minutes later, Bucky and Clint were waiting impatiently for us. They have annoyed faces.

"What took you so long?" Bucky's arm crossed, They must have been waiting for an hour.

"Traffic. Come on guys, I missed punching you in the faces" We gave each other handshakes and pats on the back.

It been a long time since I was here at the gym. We got busy like jobs, families, and other stuff, but we are still contacting each other.

"Guys, Do think- Oh shit!" Chris jumped, It made us laugh. Apparently, Tony scared him.

"Your face" Tony can't stop laughing, clapping loudly. Chris just hugged him and patted his back.

We changed clothes, warm up a little bit before the match. We talked about our lives, the new things actually.

We started the match, Chris and Bucky was first. It took a while before one of them fell down. They're strong and immature, Always wanted to win.

The next match was me and Tony.

"So, How's love life?" He joked, We're circling the ring.

"He's seeing a beauty!" Chris' loud voice informing everyone. I facepalmed.

"Ooh, Lover Boy is back" They clapped, I'm embarassed. This is all Chris' fault.

When we're in the middle of the fight, Someone came. They distracted us, Making us stop the fight. It was Scarlett...with Lizzie?

"Hey boys, Got you all some lunch" Scarlett walked to the others, Lizzie following her. They were carrying plastic bags.

"You cooked?" Bucky asked. We came down, pausing the match for a while....I'm really happy that Lizzie was here.

Lizzie looked at me, We both smiled.

"Yeah, me and this gal" Scarlett hugged Lizzie.

"Boys, This is Elizabeth. You can call her Lizzie" Scarlett introduced her to the gang, and Chris continued her introduction.

"And she's the beauty that Aaron has been seeing" He made me and Lizzie blush. The guys smirking at me, then gave her a massive interview.

"So, Where did you met him?"
"Are serious about him?"
"You know that he's been in five failed relationships?"

"Come on! Give her some space" I pulled Lizzie out of the corner of questions. I didn't know she was going to answer

"I met him because of Chris and Scarlett, I'm serious about him and yes, I know his past relationships" She said, making the guys shocked. They became quiet.

"Am I not suppose to answer those questions or..?" She was confused because of their reaction. We saw them huddle up with Chris and Scarlett.

"I'm going to prepare your lunches, Wanna help?" She headed for a table near our things. I followed her.

I took a big container filled with food out of the plastic bag. She organized the paperplates and plastic utensil. We filled the plate with equal portion.

She made steaks and gnocci. It smells delicious, It made my friends turn their heads. They sat immediately and waited for us to finish.

"Let's eat" I sat next to Lizzie, I saw their smirks. Atleast that they like her, not what happened at the others.

She's really a full package. She's understanding and nice, caring and sweet, just an all around wonderful person.

They complimented their cooking, craving for more. When we are all done, They gave her questions again

"Are you really serious? No offense, I'm just protective for Aaron" Tony asked, Has a serious look.

"Yes. If it weren't for him, I would be gone right now" I saw her hand naturally moved to her wrist, A scar was there. It made me feel...guilty.

"Alright, Let the squad get to know more about you" Tony clapped.

"Lizzie" I held her hand with the scar, My eyes staring at it. She smiled softly.

"It's fine, Don't worry" Her smaller hand at the top of mine. Her comfort is all I need
