*Earlier that night*
Dylan POV
I walk in the house welcomed by the sound of skin clashing. I could tell it was hand-to-face-contact. I was wondering what my mom did to upset him this time. I kept telling her if she listened to what he said she won't get hit. She never listens to me. I mean, how stupid can she be? Oh, look here she comes with a black eye....again.

Mom : Hi honey! How was your day?

Dylan : Like any other day ma. Don't you have something to do? Don't want your left eye identical to the right, now do you?

Mom : Right! Right! Your father always feels better after dinner. I must go.

Dylan : Yeah, go do that.

At last, I see my father with a look on his face that disturbed me. He looked as if he was proud of what he had accomplished. It agitated me. I know mom should listen to him, but at least feel bad for having to punish her. Ugh! I hate this family. But then, I get a message and I realize that my parents were the least of my problems.

Dylan : *gets a message*
The message reads "What a party girl you got there dylan"
I open the message and my veins fills up with what felt like acid. What kind of monstrosity is this?! The only thing I could do was call her. She didn't answer. One unanswered call lead to three, which lead to six, and before knew it, I had called Faith ten times. In my mind, it's time to take a trip to Faith's house. I jumped in my car as fast as I could, ignoring all traffic lights and speed limits. Her house is 45 mins away but I got there in less than half of the time. I was so mad that my girlfriend's picture was going around the school. I only knew this because I have gotten a text from almost every male student athlete at McAshville High. Next thing I knew I was at Faith's door step. The things I did! The things I said! The tears in her eyes! I think I scared her. I was turning into my father. I felt it. But for some reason, there was nothing I could do to stop it.
