Rin's POV
----------------
"I'll help you find him"
Wait, what? I stared at him, a bit surprise by what I just heard. He wants to help me? Did I hear him right? There's no way I could have Kagamine-kun's help. We just met after all.
"I don't need anyone's help" I tried to refuse his offer. He moved closer to me with a childish grin on his face. "Really?" There was a bit of amusement in his voice. "Then what's his name?"
"...."
"How does he look?" He asked. I stayed silent, unable to answer his questions. The look on my face made it quite clear that I didn't know.
"See, you don't know. You can't say you don't need help" he said with a big smile. "Just accept it. I'm going to help you."
I sighed. " fine..." I guess I have no choice...
"This might be weird but when I first met you, I had a feeling we would get along" he scratched the back of his head, laughing a little.
So I'm not the only one who thinks that?.... It feels like I met him before but that's impossible right? I don't think I ever met someone like Kagamine-kun. Well I do recall my dad saying I use to play with a boy when I was 8. No, there's no way it would be Kagamine-kun. What am I thinking? But if it is him, what will I do? No no no stop thinking this nonsense Rin Kagamine.
"Hey..."
His voice interrupted my thoughts. I glanced at him, confused.
"Doesn't that hurt? The way you're sitting"
The confused look stayed on my face as I look down to at my sitting position. I'm kneeling, folding my legs underneath my thighs, while resting my butt on the heels of my feet. I've been sitting this way ever since I was little. My mom told me it was the proper way to sit.
A soft smile appeared on my face when I think about my mom. "It doesn't hurt. I've been sitting this way for years, it's actually a habit." I replied.
"But I thought it was unhealthy to sit that way"
I awkwardly laughed. "It is, but I only sit like this when I sit on the floor, and I stretch my legs sometimes so it's fine." After saying that, I stood up to stretch my legs. I closed my eyes while the warm sunlight shined on me. A soft breeze blew through my hair. It felt nice. The rooftop is a great place for naps. I extended my arms and took a deep breath.
My eyes shot opened when I heard a loud but not too loud growl from my stomach. I didn't finish my lunch. I sat back down on the cold concrete floor and grabbed the half eaten bento box beside me. My face brightened at the thought of eating my favourite meatballs. I always leave them last.
'1...2...3...4-' My face quickly changed to a horrified expression. There's only three. "W-where's the fourth one?!" I shrieked.
"Pft"
I froze and turned to Kagamine-kun's direction. I glared at him. "So YOU took it." The quietness was now replaced by the sound of laughter. Kagamine-kun bursted into laughter.
"S-sorry, it looked good so I wanted to try it!" He wiped a tear that appeared at the corner of his eye from laughing too hard. "It was delicious, did you make it?"
I flinched. "Eh.. Well... Big sister Lu- I mean Ms. Megurine made it" I mumbled.
"Ms. Megurine is your sister?"
"We are not related, but she's like a big sister to me. She's always nice and takes care of me." A pink blush appeared on my cheeks. Kagamine-kun lied down on the floor.
"I see...so how are we going to find your prince?" He asked. I used my chopsticks to pick up a meatball. Without looking at him, I said "we don't have to find him so quickly. Since he's my prince, eventually I'll find him."
I glanced at him. I knew he was confused by his facial expression. Well I don't blame him. I actually didn't understand what I just said. I admit, I don't know how to find him. I only have his sweater. Should I make an announcement asking the owner of a light blue sweater with L.K on it to report to the office? What if he doesn't even go to this school? But he should, he was in the library. A tresspasser?
I shook my head and wrapped my bento box with the cloth. I sat closer to Kagamine-kun and started a conversation. We were getting to know each other better. I guess you could say we are friends.

We had a nice chat for twenty minutes but stopped when the bell rang. "Ehh? Lunch is over already?" Kagamine-kun whined. I stood up with the empty lunch box in my hand. "Hurry up, we have dance class now."
As we were making our way to dance class, I looked around at the white walls that surrounded us. Unlike the walls at the other side of the building, there aren't any awards up on these walls. I was about to turn right, but I bumped into Kagamine-kun who was in front of me. He stopped walking.
"What's wro-?" I was cut off when he suddenly pushed me to hide behind the wall and peeked out at the hallway in the right.
"M-Miku-chan please go out with me!" I heard an unfamiliar voice.
A confession...?
I peeked out to see what's happening. There was a boy standing infront of Hatsune-senpai. If I'm not mistaken, he's always surrounded by girls.
The twintailed girl smiled. "I'm really sorry, but I have someone I like."
The guy looked shocked, but made a sad smile and rubbed the back of his head. "Ah, I've been rejected." He chucked a bit. "But thank you" He bowed before walking away. This is Hatsune-senpai we're talking about. You shouldn't get your hopes up.
"Man... that sucks. He got rejected." Kagamine-kun said. "She's cute, who is she?"
"Miku Hatsune, an upperclassman. She's really popular and people call her the No.1 Idol in this school."
