Chapter 6 : Unexpected Discovery

Len's POV

I stretched my arms up and yawned. It's my second day at this school.

"First period is Homeroom with that old man, second period is vocal class with Ms. Megurine, then lunch, third period is dance class with Mr. Gakupo and last period is Instrumental with Mr. Kiyoteru" I mumbled while walking to school.

After making it to school, I took off my outdoor shoes and wore my indoor ones. I closed my locker and started walking to homeroom class.

"Good morning!" I shouted. I received a good morning back from the students in the classroom.

I sat down at my seat and started taking out my binder.

"Good morning, Kagamine-kun."

I turned to Rin Kagamine, who was walking to her seat behind me.

"Good morning, Rin-chan." I smiled.

When she sat down, something popped into my mind.

"Hey Rin-chan" I turned around to her sitting behind me.

"Yes?" She looked up at me.

"Do you want to call me Len?" I suggested. "Isn't it weird to call me by my last name when we're both Kagamine?"

She stared at me. "Eh... Um... I don't think that's bad..."

I smiled. "Just call me Len!"

"Okay, Len-kun." She smiled back.

When the homeroom teacher came into the classroom, everyone had to stay quiet and pay attention to the lesson.
Apparently, since the rest of the classes are related to music, we learn japanese, math, history and English in homeroom. Not all at once of course.

I yawned and stared at the black board. This period is going to take a while.

The old man dropped the chalk and turned around to the students.
"Alright, I hope you copied all the notes down. You can now have your break."

I turned around to the seat behind me.
"Hey Rin-chan, when's the duet test?"

"You forgot already? It's next week."

Next week huh...

"Then let's practice together at lunch today on the roof!" I grinned.

She nodded.

After 30 minutes, the bell rang.

Time for Vocal class!

I packed my books and walked out of the classroom with Rin-chan.

"Why did you choose the song Magnet?" I asked her.

"I like the song, do you not like it?" She frowned.

"No no, I do. It's just the lyrics are kind of... Yeah."

I just wouldn't expect her to want to sing that kind of song with me.

She pouted. "The song is still good! Don't worry about the lyrics."

I chuckled. "Okay okay, don't worry. We'll sing magnet."
