I stole through the night quietly as could be and rounded the corner towards the light house, I stopped and looked in front of me and I saw the guard starting to come towards me, and even though I was expecting this and though I was concealed completely by the small tree in front of me, I could have sworn that he could see right through it all to find me.

Soon he walked away towards another area of the manor and I ran as fast as I could to the light house and ran up the stairs with my four pouches that had been filled to the brim with water.

As soon as I got up there I started pouring the water all over the fire. After about 3 minutes of constant watering, the fire had started to die, and I had to hurriedly get down the stairs and to the stables where Ashley was hiding before anyone noticed so that we could book it out of there.

There was just one thing I had lacked to figure out….. when they made their rounds around the lighthouse.

I had just got to the bottom of the stairs when the slave driver met me with an evil grin. “And just where do you think you're going? Hmm?”

……………………………………………………….

“So these young ladies tried and nearly succeeded in getting off my property. Is this so Mr. Williams?”

“Yes, Mr.Rockshot.” the slave driver said with pleasure.

By now I was terrified of what might happen. Would we be sentenced to death, or a life time of harder work? We had no idea what was going to happen to us.

Mr. Rockshot looked at us with an evil smile. “For the attempt of running away I hereby declare that you two shall be punished by,” He paused, looking at our petrified faces humorously “switching jobs. Miss Kinzie you shall work in the house as a maid to my lovely daughter Onica and you Miss Ashley Garner shall work in the stable for eight weeks each. You have twenty-four hours to train each other to do your jobs
