RIDE OR DIE
"THE BOYS, THE GIRLS, THEY ALL LIKE CARMEN"† † †
Jury said he didn't know about Clarence Morrow, same as Cherry and Daytona. I knew they were lying, at least Jury definitely was.
Two men and a woman came in with Jury and Needles very shortly after that little chat. The younger blonde man walked in along with a blonde giggling bimbo and a bigger man with crazy curly hair. They didn't seem to notice me but I noticed them."MC royalty in the house folks," Jury announced before turning to the blonde. "Jax Teller," then gestured to the bigger man. "Bobby Elvis, of the sons." He finished as the two bikers waved to everyone. Jury then introduced the bigger man to Daytona after everyone of the Devil's Tribe said hi. It was expensive to have a "good time" with Daytona, however after the mans face lit up and kissed Jury, I realized it was Jury's treat to the bigger man. I let out a laugh as the sight was amusing to me which caught Bobby's attention as he stared at me almost in disbelief. We stood there staring at each other, I was confused as to if I did something wrong. He was frozen in place completely forgetting Daytona, and I was frozen in place completely forgetting about the glass I had been cleaning. I then stole a glance to Daytona who was looking expectantly up at the man who still had his sights set on me, it was at this moment I noticed we caught the attention of everyone in the clubhouse.
"You alright Bobby?" Jax asked his friend as he held the blonde girl close to him.
"I've never seen an angel..." The man named Bobby started. I knew where this was headed and let out a light hearted laugh.
"Can I get you something to drink old man?" I asked with one eyebrow raised, which earned a laugh from Jury, the blonde biker and any other bikers from the Devil's Tribe that were around.
Everyone dispersed to do their own thing, Daytona showing Bobby to the back rooms and his friend giving the blonde one last look before walking towards me at the bar with Jury.
"Beer is fine sweetheart, we've just never seen a looker like yourself before." Jax said leaning towards me with a sly smile.
"Careful now, your ol' lady is standing right behind you." I reminded him with a nod to the blonde behind him that looked lost as ever.
Jax barely looked at the girl behind him before turning his attention completely to me and leaned in a little more with that same smile in his face. "Just a little doe in the headlights." He whispered only so that myself and Jury could hear. He then glanced back at the blonde and gave her a smile. I had to stifle a laugh at how clueless she was. I smirked at him before turning my attention to the glasses I had to clean.
Jury then called Cherry over and told her to show the lost lamb the ropes. I watched as Cherry agreed.
"Sure thang. C'mon sweetheart." I heard Cherry say before pulling her somewhere else. I looked to see Cherry smirking right back at me. We were thinking the exact same thing, she's not cut out.
I just finished cleaning the glasses before throwing the white towel over my shoulder and looked up to Jury and Jax who already began catching up.
"How about a couple of beers, boys?" I cut in nicely.
"That'd be great darlin' " Jax said with a wink. I nodded at Jax before turning to look at Jury. He was getting a kick out of Jax trying to flirt with me.
"This one is off limits Teller," Jury started with his thumb between his teeth, watching the interaction between me and Jax.
Jax quickly turned to Jury only to have Jury laugh and slap him on the back. I too began shaking my head lightly laughing while popping the caps off the beers. Jax look between Jury and I at a loss.
"What?" Jax said letting out a nervous chuckle as he said so.
"She's my little girl." Jury said pointing a finger at me sternly. I rolled my eyes, while pouring the beers into pints. Being 17 and surrounded by bikers, I was constantly babied. However, Jax got the wrong impression as his brows furrowed together. "Not biologically of course but I've taken care of her since she wound up at the doors of the clubhouse."
Jax nodded in understanding realizing the relationship between me and Jury. Gross, he didn't actually think I'd be with Jury would he, Jury was nice but old, like really old. I shook my head at the thought and slid the beers across to them, Jury giving a nod.
"Thanks doll' " Jax smiled to me over his shoulder. This made me blush as I smiled back, nodded, and walked away. The attention I received from the two men of SAMCRO today was not foreign. Whenever men met me, they stopped and stared. I still didn't know how to feel about the attention, I stayed humble of course though. My boss, Al King, at the strip club would tell me every night the amount of men he had to turn down for personal favours as I wasn't an escort, only a dancer. He also tried to convince me into becoming an escort multiple times, rambling on about all the money I could make. But the only man that caught my eye was Nigel.
I looked at my watch, it was quarter past five. I'd need to leave soon. I looked back to Jax and Jury who were deep in conversation. Daytona came from the back laughing with Bobby, I slid over a beer in a bottle giving them both a smile before Bobby went outside with his drink and Daytona disappeared into the bathrooms. I went over to join Cherry and the blonde Jax walked in with, to learn her name was Susie. We made small talk, the girl was clearly oblivious to this lifestyle though.
I then saw Jax get up to go outside and join Bobby. I took this opportunity to grab my purse and keys and kiss Jury on the cheek goodbye.
"Wait a minute, Carm-" He was cut off my the clubhouse door shutting. Jury really did want Carmen to know the truth, but it was almost too convenient right now for the SAMCRO President; who also happened to be Carmen's father wanting to patch over his club right now. It didn't help knowing where she was headed off to right now either. He had to make this right.
