I was woken up by a pounding on my door. I looked around in confusion before my eyes landed on the velvet box. Everything came rushing back when I realized I fell asleep in the middle of my shift. I groaned, pulling at my hair. How could I be so stupid? My manager, Cindy, was going to kill me.

I straightened out my wrinkled uniform and ran my fingers through my hair as I walked over to the door. I pulled it open to reveal Cindy with a scowl set on her face.

"What the hell happened to you?" she exclaimed. "One minute you're playing with the guests, now you're sleeping during the middle of your shift! What's gotten into you Sara?"

"My friends just left me to go on tour in America." I told her.

"Friends?" she scoffed. "What friends? If you're talking about those boys who were sharing this floor for the past couple weeks then you are sadly mistaken, sweetheart. A couple popstars like them don't hang out with people like you. Its just another charity case to make them looks good for the public."

That pissed me off, Cindy doesn't know anything. "You have no clue what you're talking about." I said through gritted teeth. "You never do."

"I'd suggest you watch your mouth young lady. One more slip up and I have no problem getting rid of you. There are plenty of other people who could do a much better job here. People who actually work hard and deserve it." she sneered.

I had enough. "Listen here Cindy. You don't control me and I don't need you." I told her, my face turning red with rage.

"Oh but I think I do." Cindy cackled. "I'm your boss."

"Not anymore bitch, I quit." I retorted. Since it was the end of the month, I had already worked off payment for my room. I could pack everything up amd leave right now. It's times like these I'm thankful I haven't spent any of the money my parents left for me in the bank.

Cindy looked absolutley astonished. I guess she thought I was just going to back down and be a submissive little girl, but that's not me.

"Three days." she said. "You have three days to pack up your shit and get out of here." Then she stormed out of the room, completed by a loud slamming of the door.

I can't believe this is actually happening. Where am I going to go? I always let my temper get the better of me and now it lost me my job. What am I supposed to do? I have to tell someone.

I started dialing Liam's phone number, but I quickly changed my mind. He probably hasn't landed yet and he will freak out. But I know very few people besides the boys and the hotel workers. I could call Mikey from the gym, but what could he do for me?

This is one of those times when I sorely miss my parents. They would know what to do. Well, I wouldn't have been working here if they hadn't died. But I can't spend time feeling sorry for myself. I have to figure out where to go. I started scroling through my contacts when I came across the most recent addition.

Eleanor Calder

Would she be able to help me. Or maybe she can at least give me some advice on what to do or where to go. Okay, I'll phone Eleanor.  Dear God, please let her help me.

"Hello?" She picked up after three rings.

I took a deep breath before pouring out all my thoughts to her. "Hi, it's Sara and I really need help because I got into an argument with my manager and I quit so now I have to move out of my hotel and I only have three days and I don't know what to do so please help me because I'm like really freaking out right now and-" I rambled until I was cut off by Eleanor.
