Marcus half fainted when they got off the bus and he saw Columbus, Ohio for the very first time. He pulled out his snapchat, taking of video of his screaming and running around on the sidewalk. In the background you can see Tyler and Josh laughing, but Mark just shaking his head.
"Holy shit guys!!!" Marcus cheered in another snapchat video, putting Tyler and Josh in it. Josh smiled, "We're home!" Tyler bounced, "Let's go dye this boy's hair!"
Marcus posted both videos on his story.
The three of them walked, Marcus tucked in between both boys. He was giggling softly.
"I'm in Columbus, Ohio with Josh Dun, and Tyler Joseph. About to dye my hair. And then see all five venues of Tour De Columbus! I think I'm going to actually have a flipping meltdown!!" Marcus squealed.
"He's a real keeper Josh!" Tyler laughed out.
"Isn't he the cutest thing in this universe?" Josh said sweetly.
"That he is." Tyler nudged Marcus, grinning widely as the boy skipped around.

The hair salon was mostly empty, Josh having called ahead to warn them of their arrival. Josh checked in, smiling. "So Marcus will be getting his hair dyed and so will I." Josh pulled out his wallet, paying for their appointments.
Marcus was taken away to an area behind a curtain while Josh stayed in front of the curtain. Marcus swallowed nervously and looked into the mirror.
"Do you think you can cut it a bit shorter before you dye it?" Marcus whispered.
"Of course sir. I can do whatever you like. What color today?" She hummed.
"Silver.." He smiled widely.

Marcus had felt his heart race as each strand was cut in the precise way he requested. He closed his eyes during the washing of his now much shorter hair. He wanted to cry. He had never had much freedom or balls when it came to his hair. He had always craved it shorter. Always craved a different color. Josh Dun had been his inspiration. How many colors he had done. How he dressed himself.
Marcus had always dreamt to be as brave as him. And now...his dream was more than true.
His dream was just a curtain away.
Marcus took a goofy selfie while his hair was dying, posting it on twitter and going, "Getting my new doo done~ Just dude stuff!"
He got a few likes from people who had followed him from the time that he retweeted Josh's post. He felt proud, loving that people appeared to actually like what he was doing. Even though most of his post were random thoughts typed down, pictures of his outfits, or videos of him twerking in weird locations.
He did that too much.
...way too much...
But Josh's liked each one of his posts.
The time finally came and Marcus was turned in the chair to see himself. He gasped. His heart racing as his bright blue eyes grazed against his own reflection. His hair was shorter on the sides, less curly. And it was short on the top until it got to the very front. It had a curled quaff that pretty sculpted the look. The color was a bright silvery grey. He took a shaking breath and smiled.
