Shawn Mendes

I never knew just what it was about this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew

Shawn never understood why he always went back to that old, small, dainty café a few blocks from his place whenever he's home from touring around the world. He went there once to find inspiration to write songs and he noticed that it was only him and a girl, sketching something on her notepad, in the café. She kept on smiling after every time she would stop to look at how her sketch was looking. And for some reason, Shawn found inspiration in her and that small, old coffee shop.

I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you

Yes, there's a chance I've fallen quite hard over you
I've seen the path that your eyes wander down, I want to come too

Shawn went there everyday since the first time he went, hoping to find the girl there and inspiration for his songs. And everyday whenever he went, the girl was there. Only them, in the small, old coffee shop.

"Have you ever been to Prague?"

Shawn looks up from his notebook and looks at the girl, then looks around the coffee shop to check if she was talking to him, even if he knew it was only the two of them in the café.

"Prague?" Shawn asks, the girl nods with a big smile on her face. "I haven't, actually."

"Oh, you should! It's such a beautiful place. Everything I've ever imagined." The girl says excitedly. Shawn smiles at her, adoring how much she loved the little city so much.

"I take it you've been." Shawn asks. The girl nods. She opens her mouth to say something, but hesitates right away.

"I'm sorry. I must have scared you talking to you all of the sudden. I'm pretty sure I disturbed you with what you're doing." The girl says shyly, looking down on her lap.

"No, it's fine! I was sort if losing inspiration anyway." Shawn smiles at the girl. She smiles back at him, still looking a bit embarrassed. She looks down at her watch and started packing her stuff quickly. She gets up and heads towards the door, but stops right in front of the door. She looks back at Shawn and smiles.

"I've been once but I'm so in love with Prague. Maybe one day I'll live there." She says, smiling shyly at Shawn.

"Then when you do, maybe I can go there and you can give me a tour around." Shawn says to the girl.

"I'm looking forward to that. I'll see you around, then." The girl smiles at Shawn, before turning around to head out. She stops again before opening the door and looks back at Shawn, "I'm Serena, by the way."

"Shawn." Shawn introduces himself. Serena smiles once more then finally leaves.

Once Serena was gone, Shawn wrote right away, inspiration pouring in. But one thing's for sure, he couldn't stop thinking about Serena.

I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
Yes there's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you
I've seen the waters that make your eyes shine
Now, I'm shining too

Shawn and Serena spent time together in the small coffee shop, talking about everything and anything. From art and artists, adventures and paradise. Serena loved listening to Shawn's stories about touring and his music. She adored how passionate Shawn was about his music. And Shawn loved listening to Serena's adventures. He enjoyed listening to her spontaneous adventures to the places Serena has been. He swore he could listen to her talk about the most random places and the most random things and he would not get bored.
