"I just don't trust this deal he offered." I complained, walking out of the locker room to meet Bo.
"I wouldn't have agreed to it." She smiled out, looking over at me. "Don't stress Dakota, it is just high school football." I sighed and nodded.
"Yeah, oh the boys are coming over to stay tonight at my house." Bo glared at me and I smiled back.
"Really? C'mon Dakota." She groaned out, getting into my car. I laughed and slammed my door shut.
"What, better than them partying tonight." I retorted, starting my car.
"I don't want to babysit everyone and you know that is whats gonna end up happening." I smirked, Bo is getting paid by my parents right now to stay at the house with my while they are away on a business trip. They know I don't need a babysitter, especially during school. I am pretty sure they just don't want me to be home alone for a month or two.I pulled out of the parking lot and started driving when I saw another car pull our behind me, I kept glancing as I took the long back roads to my house. Right before we reached my house I pulled over to the side of the road, the car slowly kept going forward and turned off to the right. "What are you doing?" Bo asked, looking behind us.
"Oh nothing, just thought my car was making a weird sound." I lied, pulling back onto the road.
"This car is almost brand new, your parents would beat you if it was making a weird sounds." Bo laughed out, rolling down her window. I smiled over at her and shrugged.
"You know them, they would tell me to pick another out from th garage and they would take care of it when they got home." I mumbled out, pulling up to the gated community. I rolled down my window and started to press the numbers in when I heard some yelling behind me, I turned and saw Mason and some of the team in his truck parked right behind me.
"UGH." Bo groaned out, glancing behind us. I sighed and turned my car off, opening my door I stood up and walked a couple feet towards them.
"What's up boys?" I smiled out, crossing my arms.
"What's your team up to tonight?" Mason yelled out the window, I went to answer when I black Bugatti whipped up and stopped right in front of me. The windows were tinted and I couldn't see who was inside. I heard a car door open and shut, looking back I saw Bo walking up to me.
"Hey baby, do all the girls in North High make that uniform work as well as you do?" Mason whistled at Bo. She scoffed and stopped beside me.
"Lovely meeting all of you here but we really should be going." She stated politely, crossing her arms. The black car's driver side door opened and out stepped a guy about as tall as me with blonde hair, he was built but on the smaller side. He turned around and I instantly knew who it was.
"What's up D? Miss me?" I quickly shook off my shock and smiled.
"Jayke? Long time no see, you look a little bigger then when I last saw you." He laughed and walked around the car.
"That's what 4 years will do to you. You grew too, a lot actually." He stopped in front of me and glanced at Bo. "Wait a minute." Bo smiled and Jayke whistled. "Bo?"
"Hi Jayke." She said quietly, I could tell she was just as uncomfortable as I was.
"Wow, the years have done you well. Not the small, little boy I use to think you were." She scoffed at his joke and glared at him.
"I am not a little boy."
"I can tell now." I rolled my eyes and snapped my fingers so he would look at me again.
