"All I am saying is that isn't true!" Austin sighed out, we were halfway through the book all about the kids at our school and their dirty secrets. "I have never told South any of our plays!""Hey I believe you. It's okay they are making all of this stuff up anyways." I mumbled out, I turned the next page and there was a picture of Bo and I- kissing. I felt my heart stop and didn't dare look away from the page.
"Either that is some really good Photoshop or you and Bo actually kissed." Cole scoffed out, I sighed out and turned to the boys.
"This is real." I looked back down at the book and mentally argued with myself. I mainly kissed Bo to figure out if I was into girls or not. Turns out I am not. But that does not mean I want to come out to everyone at this moment. I hadn't even asked Bo before I leaned in to kiss her and I could tell she was surprised.
I pulled away and sighed out of relief. Finally looking up at Bo she had her eyes still trained out past my shoulder. I opened my mouth to talk when she finally spoke up.
"Dakota, what the hell was that." Her tone was laced with anger and confusion. I smiled at her lightly finding the situation slightly funny.
"Bo, I think I like guys."
That was barely a year ago and she has been more than okay with my decision. I looked up at the guys again and saw Cole with his mouth wide open and everyone else's faces full of confusion.
"You and Bo kissed? Are you dating?" Austin questioned, asking what everyone else was thinking.
"No, we-we wanted to make sure we didn't have a spark or anything." It wasn't technically a lie, but it wasn't the truth either. The boys all nodded and murmured a yes here and there. I turned to the next page and it was Cole making out with a girl that looked very familiar.
"COLE IS THAT ALISON?" Sawyer yelled out, slapping Cole's back. Cole's face turned pink immedietly. What could he be so embarresed about? Cole is always hooking up with girls I couldn't imagine a girl he would be scared about.
"Whose Alison?" I question. All the boys were looking at me like I was crazy.
"D are you serious?" Trent deadpanned.
"Alison, you know." Cole tried to jog my memory but nothing was coming to my mind.
"Dakota she is Hanson's ex-girlfriend." Austin groaned out. I looked back down at the picture and now noticed that I had seen her before. She was around 5'6 and had a pastel purple hair that stopped at her shoulders. She was a very pretty girl and I could see her dating Hanson but at the same time; poor girl. I looked up and glared over at Cole.
"How old is this picture?" He smiled slyly and looked down at his feet.
"A couple weeks old." He mumbled out.
"Didn't they just break up a couple days ago?" Austin asked, leaning down to look at the picture again.
"Wait, you made out with Hanson's girlfriend while they were dating? Cole are you serious?" I asked in disbelief. "He is going to murder you." Cole smiled up at me and batted his eyes at me.
"But you will protect me right?" He grabbed my forearm and kept smiling. "I am a asset to the team D, so please protect me." I glared at him but stood up.
"You are lucky you are good at football." I walked down the hallway and heard a couple different voices coming from Bo's room. I slowed down and tried to listen in.
"No Brook is right, we need someone who is small and has the funds to travel with the team."
"I could start fundraising the funds to come, and I am the smallest one on the team right now Veronica." Bo's voice didn't sound as confident as usual.
