Both of the twins had their hands clasped over my throat, closing my windpipe a little. I had wheezed as Scott took a protective step forward, his dark brown eyes shooting a glare at Derek. "Let him go." , he had said in an assertive tone, his hands soon clenching into fists. My vision was starting to get dim as my legs dangled helplessly. Charlie's excessive barking made me want to chuckle but I did not want to risk the twins tightening their grip on my neck. "Not likely. You see, this boy right here is special. He's not like an other werewolf, Scott. You haven't noticed, but I have." , Derek had said, never breaking his eyes from me which made me want to scream. My vision was getting more blurry by the minute and I was starting to get sleepy. Scott probably took notice to this because I could practically hear the anger in his voice, "LET. HIM. GO." About ten seconds passed before what I could make out as Derek waving his hand, the twins dropped me onto the floor. I coughed and struggled for breath, forcing myself to stay awake and not go unconscious. Arms wrapped around me to help me up and I knew it was Scott and Mom. Charlie, on the other hand, was letting out yips while jumping around on the couch.

Mom had led me upstairs while Scott stayed downstairs to deal with them. Through my eyes, it was like somebody had a brightness button and was switching it from low to high on and off. My head was hurting and my throat was sore but I felt pain there, kinda like something had scratched me. Moving a trembling finger to my throat, I winced at the pain that shot through me when my finger made contact. When I brought my finger back to my view, a crimson liquid stained it. Blood. "Oh...gosh." , I almost fell when I saw it. Mom had helped me to this guest room, since my room wasn't officially made yet. There were two beds, but I was too tired to even ask about it. Being laid down in one of the beds, Mom had rushed to the bathroom that was built in with the room. Soon, she came back out with some cotton pads and a couple liquids. "Stay awake, honey." , she reminded me, placing a warm hand on my cheek to keep me awake. She had opened up the top to a bottle with a green thin liquid in it. Pouring some in the cotton pad, she touched it to whatever was on my throat. Words cannot imagine the pain I went through. I felt a scream building up in my throat, but I closed my eyes to keep myself from doing so. Tears came from my eyelids although they were closed. "I know it burns..I know." Her soothing voice flowed through one ear and went out the other.

There was a crash downstairs, followed by a bark. Charlie. I tensed up, about to go down there. Mom placed me back down when a voice rang out from downstairs. "Get. Out!" I didn't recognize who it was but the next liquid placed to my throat was more of a tingling sensation than a stinging one like last time. She had dabbed it and then placed a band-aid on it. Mom had went downstairs quickly, closing my room door. I was taking deep breathes, I needed someone with me. I disliked being alone so much. I wanted Charlie, Mom, just someone! I slowly leaned upwards, ignoring the numbing that was beginning to spread through my body. I could not pass out at this moment. "Scott...!" , I yelled out, trying to move. There were footsteps that came from the stairs, and they got closer and closer. When the door opened, someone who I had never expected to enter had came in. Isaac. He gave me this grin that just made my blood boil. "I see you got your ass handed to you." , he had said, the smirk never leaving his face. "...What do you want?" , I asked, starting to lose the battle against the sleep. Isaac said three words that made me literally pass out because of shock.

                                                              "I live here."

  ( 2:34 AM , Home)

My eyes had opened, the darkness welcoming me at first. I sat up slowly, looking around in a frantic motion. It was pitch black. Before I had a heart attack, I quickly calmed down and did the first thing that came to my mind. I flashed my eyes. My irises began to glow light blue and my night vision had officially activated. I scanned the room and then sighed relief. I was in the same room that Mom dropped me off in. But then I tensed up when I saw someone sleeping in the bed across from the one I was in. Isaac. I had taken a deep breath, swinging my feet over to the floor. As I touched the floor, I winced at how cold it was. I thought I still had on my shoes. But now I was barefoot. I had inched to the door, and opened it slightly. Being the nimble figure I am, I squeezed through the door and shut it quietly. Inching down the dark hallway, my eyes had suddenly returned to normal and I couldn't see anything. I am so dead. But then something happened that scared the daylights out of me. Something stepped on my foot. It felt soft and warm, oddly. But it still stepped on my foot and I couldn't ignore that aching pain. Then, the hallway lights had turned on. I winced as the bright lights blinded me temporarily. When my vision focused, I saw what had stepped on my foot. Scott had stepped on my foot with his foot on accident. Was everybody barefoot in this house?!

"Sorry." , He apologized and then removed his foot. I gave him a silent nod before bringing up my foot and rubbing it. Then when I put it back down, he gave me a curious look. I arched an eyebrow at his question he asked, "Why are you up?" I hadn't actually thought about that. Why am I up? Why didn't I just close my eyes and drift back off to my mind where any dream was possible? A shrug was the only answer I could come up with and luckily, he accepted it as one. "What happened?", I asked him, staring him down in the eyes. "Where's Charlie?" Scott gave me a smile, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Charlie's okay. As for what happened, I'll tell you later." , he had answered me before his eyes had flickered down to Mom's room. He looked worried for her but then he looked back at me about five seconds later, eyeing the band-aid that was stuck onto my throat. Before he could even ask his question, which I already knew he was gonna ask, I said, "I think I got punctured by one of those twin's claws. Don't worry, I feel fine." A sigh escaped his lips but I already started to make my way towards the stairs that awaited for someone to journey down them. I slowly stepped down the stairs, followed by Scott from a distance. "I don't think I'll be able to get back to sleep." , we both said in unison, which made us chuckle at our similarities in our personality.

"I''ll stay down here with you until you decide to go back upstairs." , Scott had said to me with a smile. I smiled back and we both sat on the couch. We talked for about two hours, laughing at each other's jokes, and even playing games like "Would you rather" or "Truth or Dare". This was brother bonding time and I loved it. I didn't know what time it was but I could feel my drowsiness starting to overpower me. Scott had let out a couple of yawns, which basically signaled to me that he was also getting tired. We tried to keep talking but I don't know what happened but at some point we had just fell asleep. I had a dream about us doing another brother bonding time. I knew the dream would come true but as I was experiencing it, I smiled at how it was going. It was so cool how Scott and I were getting closer! The next morning, Scott and I woke up to the sound of a camera flashing. Mom stood over the couch, taking pictures of us with a smile. I was confused at first and I could tell Scott was too by the identical look on his face but then I understood. Scott and I were literally sprawled out over/under each other on the same couch. We'd been talking so much last night, when we fell asleep, we must've just spread out and got tangled up. I was so embarrassed that she was taking pictures. And then she said, "Aww. Brother bonding time." HOW DID SHE KNOW WHAT I CALLED IT?! Probably a coincidence.
