The New Boy.

Hinata's POV

As I was walking home using the same path full of Sakura trees on each side, I saw someone. A boy about the same age as me. He had long Raven black hair and dark eyes. He looked lost, I could tell he was getting wet and I was already soaked (I forgot my umbrella this morning since I was in a hurry) so I ran to the store that was next to me and brought one ( I didn't have much money on me to buy two). I returned outside hoping he was still there and to my surprise he was. He was sitting on a bench covered in wet Sakura petals. It's almost like he had been waiting for me. I open the umbrella and run towards him almost tripping over nothing. I heard him giggle...it was cute. What are you saying Hinata? You have Naruto! He's loyal & faithful!

"Hi...a-are you lost?" I say as I was covering him with the umbrella.

"Hey! I didn't ask for your help" he said in a harsh tone.

"Geez, I was just trying to help and to think I even brought you an umbrella"

"Y-you what?!" he sounded surprised and I swear I saw his cheeks turn pink as the petals for a second.

"Well yea, you looked lost and wet kinda of like an abandoned puppy...I guess"

"Well I don't know how you did it but you're right I am lost. I just moved here and tomorrow I will be attending Konoha High. I was just walking around trying to explore the place and know more about it"

"Really? I go there! I could teach you and we could walk together so you don't get lost!"

After a long pause I say:

"How about a free tour?"

"Really? From a girl who trips over almost nothing?"

"Geez you're harsh..um- actually I don't know your name.."

"Oh right... Sasuke Uchiha " He said as he reached out his hand to greet me.

I shaked his hand "Hinata Hyuga"

"Well Hyuga, should we start our tour?" He stands up from the bench and takes the umbrella from me. Me being short I can't fight back for it.

"Y-yes!"

I run up to his side as he continues walking without me.

Sasuke's POV

I can't believe I'm saying this but I've never had so much fun. I can't let her know that of course, so I threw some sarcasm here and there but; this small pale girl, she's perfect. We've addressed ourselves as friends when I accidentally called her "Hinata-chan" instead of "Hyuga" although she said she liked it better than being called by her last name. I started remembering these places as things Hinata said or did around them. Things I could never forget. I finally met someone who will become a real friend to me. I think I'm actually starting to like her (not that way!) Besides she told she has a boyfriend, but now that I think about it where is he? Why would he just leave her like that?

The reason I moved was to forget what happened with my family.

I suddenly see Hinata staring at something in the window from the store we standing in front of (we had taken shelter because our umbrella couldn't hold on very well with all the wind). It was a lavender hair bow. I look at her and say:

"I'll be right back"

As I run into the store I ask the old lady if I could buy the bow at the window.

"Is it for your girlfriend?" she said as she walked over to the display in the front, thankfully Hinata wasn't looking.

"N-no we just met actually, I just moved here and she was showing me around"

"Oh really? Now that I think about it I've never seen you around!"

"Well here's your bow and word of advice, don't let that one go. She's seems like such a sweet person! Friends like that don't come around you know!"

I take the bag from her and place it in my pocket. "Thanks"

I run back outside and see Hinata standing there...she was eating a cinnamon roll. How did she even manage to-

"Sasuke-kun! Don't worry I brought you one too!" She handed me a tiny box with one big fluffy cinnamon roll in it. She was smiling so bright like a kid and all of a sudden it stopped raining. I usually don't like it to admit it but I like sweet things.

"Thanks Hinata"

"Well we should head home now Sasuke-kun "

(Sasukes POV)

After me and Hinata walked home yesterday, we found out that we live 3 blocks away from each other. Today was my first day at Konoha High. As promised Hinata walked me there and then headed to look for someone after she took me to the principal's office to register.

Heading to my classroom, I bumped into to a teacher with long pointy silver hair. He said "You must be Sasuke, follow me"

As a followed him to class, he tells me to wait outside.

"Class, I would like you all to meet our new student. Sasuke Uchiha."

That was my cue to walk in.
