Naruto and Hinata.

Naruto's POV

"Naruto-kun I-I can't breathe" as I realize my small girlfriend is almost turning purple like her eyes, I release my grip. "I'm sorry Hinata, it's just that he was looking at you for too long and as your boyfriend I must let him know you're mine." "Don't worry Naruto-kun, I'm pretty sure he was just thinking that I look like some kinda of alien weirdo" "Don't say that baby, even if you were...you'd be the cutest one I've ever seen."

I saw her cheeks turn pink, oh god I love it when she blushes. It's been three months since I've been dating Hinata and I've never been happier. I remember when she confessed to me, I rejected her at first (being I liked someone else) but she started to grow on me. I'm not sure I'm fully in love with her but she always has a way that brings me back to her. It's like if I knew she killed someone, I would still follow her to the ends of the earth. But it's not all sunshine, there have been some days where we argue but we fix it up afterwards.

I kiss her forehead. "Let me take you to class okay" "okay....babe" Babe? Did she really just call me that? Oh god I can feel my self heating up, why are you so darn cute Hinata? While I was in shock of her words, I suddenly felt my lips being touched with someone else's. I look down and see it's just Hinata. Who was I expecting? I return the kiss as I held her waist. "See you later baby"

"Later Naruto-kun"

Walking down the halls to find my class I suddenly felt someone grab my wrist. I turn back and see a girl with green eyes, pink short hair looking at me. Sakura. Out of all the times why now? I've finally thought I got over you and just one look and my heart is beating like crazy. What should I do? Wait.. I have a girlfriend, a beautiful one I should just walk away and be loyal, is what my mind tells me. Instead...

"What i-is it S-Sakura-chan"

"So I see you picked up something from you're nerdy girlfriend huh?"

Oh fuck, am I stuttering?!

"Hey! Don't insult Hinata like that." My voice deepens meaning I was serious.

"Whatever. Anyways Naruto...would you like to walk home with me after school? Just you and me"

What is she saying? Does she really think I would just leave Hinata like that? Especially today? It's raining and my poor girlfriend forgot her umbrella , good thing I bought a big one so she could hold onto my arm while we walk together.

"Sure..where do I meet you"

Oh fuck I said that out loud.

"Real-I mean great! Meet me by the lockers I'll be waiting for you Naruto!"

Oh no. What have I done? What am I going to tell Hinata?

I'll just lie to her this once.

It was the end of the day and I was supposed to meet Hinata by her class. As I saw her walking up to the room door, I kissed her forehead, "Hey baby" she giggled before saying "Hey Naruto-kun.... ready to go?"

"About that baby I came to tell you, I can't walk home with you today Kakashi-sensei is making me stay after class to help him grade some stuff" I say almost stuttering.

"Are you lying to me Naruto-kun" she said her eyes looking at me almost as she can see deep into my soul.

How'd she know? "No I'm not baby, what makes you say that?"

"Your voice gets higher when you lie and you look away Naruto-kun, and he would've asked a teacher..it makes no sense to ask a student...now tell me what's really going on?"

She's too smart for me. I look at her into her pale lavender eyes and clear my throat and say "okay you're right I did lie to you, I'm not passing and I asked him for extra help."

"Well why didn't you just say so Naruto-kun, you could've asked me to study with you" she reaches her hand out to me and caresses my cheek.

I can't believe she bought my lie. Maybe my smart cookie isn't so smart after all.

As I say my goodbyes to her I walk towards my classroom. Lucky for me, I could hide behind the stairwell. As I watch her leave the school building; I text Sakura.

N: is she gone?

S: yea the cost is clear

N: are you sure? Completely out of view? Remember she can't know about this!

S:  Yes and I know! now can you please come down before I change my mind!

N: calm down, I'm going

As walk down stairs I see her. Her hair is blowing from the wind coming inside. I only see half of her face since she is looking outside. She looks beautiful...what are you thinking Naruto? You have a girlfriend! I grab my umbrella and head towards her. She smiles at me and grabs my arm, I guess she didn't bring an umbrella either. Oh I just hope no one sees us. I turn to her and say:

"Ready to go?"
