General POV
Hinata walked into the bathroom crying her eyes out. The girls in the bathroom tell her that Sasuke finally opened his eyes and moved on to someone better.

Hinata ran out the bathroom and bumped into Gaara who was waiting for her.

"Why are you crying?" He says concerned.

"Nothing" She gives him a fake smile.

"Don't listen to them" He tries to reassure her.

He hugged her as she cried into his chest. Gaara looked around the corner where he saw Sasule glaring at them. Sasuke had followed them after dropping off Karin at her classroom. Gaara smiled at Sasuke which made him furious. Gaara felt victorious that he even held Hinata close and kissed her forehead which caused her to react quickly.

"D-Don't do things like that you pervert!" She said holding her forehead with a blushed face.

Gaara stood back surprised. He suddenly turned back to Sasuke as if asking what do I do? Sasuke only smiled at Hinata. He was proud of her. It made Gaara mad.

"Sorry Hinata,let me take you to your class to make it up to you" He smiled at her.

"It's okay and o-okay" She said pouting.

They started walking together when Gaara turned around and stuck his tongue out at Sasuke. Hinata noticed and turned around but no one was there.

"Who were you looking at?" She asks.

"Nobody. I thought I saw someone"He lies.

"Oh"

They arrived at Hinata's class as she took her seat next to Naruto. Naruto only looked her up and down but didn't say anything. Not forgetting what happened that night. He felt ashamed to even look at her properly. Although thanks to his parents he was able to get out of jail but not Sakura. She was sent to an insane asylum. Hinata's eyes followed Sasuke and Karin as they walked together into the classroom. Holding hands. Hinata put her head down. Naruto noticed this and took action. He hugged Hinata which made her jump up.

"N-Naruto-kun?"

"I'm sorry Hinata. For everything. From hurting you in ways I couldn't even imagine, for cheating on you, for being so stupid and thinking I was in love with some maniac, for that night. I stand forward to you as a man right now. A man who wants to change not just for you but for myself too. I still have a lot to learn as I get older. A lot I want to fix but for now I'll start here. I know sorry won't fix everything but I'll let you take your time. So please, please believe me I'm truly sorry."

The class stared at Naruto and Hinata waiting for her to speak. After all he said it out loud. It was the first time they all saw him cry even Hinata was surprised.

Hinata's head was down. Before she lifted her head she wiped her tears. She faced him with a smile.

"Let's be friends,okay?"

"Does that mean you forgive me?"

"Yes"

He hugged her but she didn't. The whole class aw-ed.

"Hm,so my cousin finally wants to be nice?"Karin said resting her head on her hand.

Sasuke looked over at Karin who was holding onto him.
