First week of the month so far started very hectic, because the fact that exams were just around the corner, waiting for the right time to come and attack us with even more stress. Thinking that the next day would get better would be considered us lying to ourselves.

School was over for the day, so I thought it would be a great idea to go to the public library, to finish all my assignments and write my stories in a more conducive, distraction-free place. My house isn't that of a good place to study at.

So I found a two-seater cubicle, settled my things down and prepared myself to get stressed over papers. Two minutes later I found myself already de-stressing by writing stories for almost half an hour. I'm really great at procrastinating, aren't I?

I snapped at the realisation that I was at the library, where you can find thousands of resources in book form, awaiting to be read. But, I know one of the library staff who is going to be patrolling around, will give me a warning slip saying that 'I shouldn't leave my things unattended' or something. I sighed, even though I received thousands of them, I just left my table and began my hunt for books that fit my story genre.

As I came back with 3 books about zombie apocalypse and romance, I found all my things there, untouched, without any other additions to it. I'm quite surprised, maybe it was just my lucky day.

I sat down, plugged in my earphones and listened to the calm playlist. I wrote down alot after getting inspired by the books I've picked and read.

He stroked her cheek with his back of his hand.

"You will be fine. With me around, you don't need to worry about anything else."

She held his wrist, her face tear-stained, her body visibly shaking after running across the dead bodies that were lying on the ground, with live ones chasing them with such awkward manner, and their limbs almost detached, body covered in pus that was oozing out of their pores or cuts and scars.

She wasn't brave, but something about him made her feel so much greater. So she pushed herself towards him, and kissed him like there was no tomorrow.

Life has become terrible, but with each other by their side, they feel like they can overcome almost anything.

A crashing sound made them jolted and pulled away. They looked across the room and saw-

I then felt a hand on my left shoulder, I immediately dropped my pen, unplugged my earphones and looked behind me.

Holy shit.

A guy, standing tall, wearing black jeans, with a grey hoodie that says Oaklahoma University. He wears silver-rimmed, round glasses and has a really cute, ruffled black hair. He looks Korean, which nowadays every girl is fangirling for.

Maybe he wanted the empty chair to sit beside his girlfriend and his popular friends.

Something about him makes me feel so tingly on the inside but at the same time I don't think I might have a chance with him.

"Hi, Is anyone sitting beside you?"

"..no.." my word trailed at how beautiful his accent is; how American like, I don't seem to connect those two together really well.

"Great! May I sit beside you?"

Holy fuck.
