"Good afternoon friends and teachers! I am Betty and she is Audrey, and we will be your emcees for this assembly!"
"Yes indeed Betty! Today, we will be announcing that this Friday, we will be hosting.."
"The Valentines' Day Night!" Both of them mentioned.
They sound overly excited. I mean, this isn't such a big deal, right?
"COME ON!" Oh Mandy.
"Valentines' Day isn't just about love between your partner, you can spread the love with your friends and family members as well! So you have to come with one person with you on this special night!" Betty announced.
"And, there will be a buffet table and free flow of drinks! We also have our very own talented bartender, Johnathan to give you the various exotic drinks his hands can make!"
"Yes! All you have to do is to bring five dollars, to pay for the event of course,"
"And here's some rules about your attire for the night. We are in a school anyway so, rules are rules!"
Audrey started to talk more about what we should wear and not wear, and the consequences if we don't obey by the rules.
"So, who's in your list for being your partner for the night?" Aiden whispered.
"I don't know. Maybe I'll invite Charlotte, or Megan, maybe even my mom? Since they say we can bring our family members, heck, I'll bring my whole family there, how about you?"
He laughed.
"Haha, maybe I thought of bringing my mom as well, or maybe with the whole gang, who knows?"
We then sat there, paid our attention back to Audrey. To be honest, I didn't really wanted to go to the party. Seemed like there was going to be a repeat of what happened at the last school party.
