Peeta comes walking through the door, just as I pull myself together. Okay. Stay calm. Breathe. He walks over to me and goes in for a kiss, but instinctively, I turn my head slightly to the left, so he pecks my cheek instead. "You okay?" he asks. "Yeah, I'm fine," I tell him, conjuring up a half-hearted smile. Haymitch gives me a look that says 'you can't screw this up.' I just ignore him.

If, and I hope not, but if Peeta really is cheating on me, then he doesn't deserve my love and affection. The only thing that could make me keep going with this act is Willow. I can't let her see her parents fighting all of the time! That's not fair.

So when he offered my hand, I accept it, and let him lead me slowly out of Haymitch's house and into our home.

Inside I am greeted with the smell of baked bread. "Would you like a slice?" asks Peeta. "I just took it out of the oven" he smiles.

"Sure, but first I'm going to check on Willow." I tell him.

I go upstairs and into Willow's room, where I see my mother cradling Willow in her arms, fast asleep. I gently lift Willow and place her into her crib, and leave my mother there to rest.

When I go back downstairs, I see that Peeta has set the table with candles and all. I smile, genuinely, at him. "Sit down, m'lady," he says, with a little bow. I giggle like a child, and gladly sit. He then brings out two mugs of cocoa and a slice of steamy bread each. I say thankyou to him and we eat. From there in there is silence, apart from the clanging of cups against the glass table. Peeta grins at me. He looks so innocent.

PEETAS P.O.V

While Katniss is upstairs checking in on Willow, I decide to set the table and make it look really fancy, because she deserves it so badly. I quickly get the candles from the top shelf, and light them, careful not to burn my hands. Then I get our best placemats and plates, put them on the table and wait. I hear her footsteps coming down the stairs, when she sees the placement that i set out for her, she smiles. I smile back at her. "Sit down, m'lady," I tell her, and bow, pulling out a chair. She giggles, oh my gosh she is adorable. It makes me want to clear everything off of this table, put her on it an-

I can't think about this now. Come on, Peeta. Focus.

I bring out the mugs of hot chocolate that I made earlier, and a slice of warm bread each. I then sit, and like usual, break off my bread and dip it into my hot chocolate. It's unusually quiet, apart from the cups and all. I smile at Katniss, unable to contain it.

She's just so amazing.

I think about the phone call I was having with Annie earlier on, she was crying and telling me how much she missed Finnick. It will be his 16th anniversary of his death in two months. I cannot imagine how hard that is going to be for her. I told her that I love her, and I'll always be there for her. Katniss too.
