I knew I shouldn't but I dived toward the poles. Soon enough, the Eagle that attacked me dived as well.

Please let me live. I pleaded in my head. The Eagle was gaining so much momentum that if I went a different direction, the Eagle wouldn't be able to follow me. I turned up at the last minute and continue forward.

Another Eagle came from my left flank and Knocked me off the broom.

As I was falling, I remebered yesterday.

"Maybe I should be a parrot more often."

"Maybe."

Fred kissed me lightly on the lips.

"You know," I said breaking away, "I can't think of another time I felt like this."

He looked into my eyes. "Me neither."

I flashed back into reality, I wasn't falling anymore. I had landed in a snow bank at the crest of the mountain. The Egales were ready to dive and finish me off but another broomstick had arrived in the basin. From what I could see, the rider was a tiny black dot nothing stuck out to tell me who it was.

I looked around to see if I could spot my broom. Luckily it was only a couple of paces away. I mounted my broom and went off to the poles. Hopefully I wouldn't have anymore problems.
