My Favourite scenes:
My first favourite scene would have to be when Belle sings after being harassed by Gaston, it's a classic moment and it's insanely empowering. Emma Watson's more rebellious and in some ways modern version of Belle really takes flight in this scene and it does what a movie should do: It entertained it's audience.

My next favourite scene would have to be when all of the living objects are being turned completely into objects permanently. It was the only moment in the film that actually made tears run down my face, it's particularly sad when Mrs Potts potential last words are something along the lines of "Chip! Where's my boy?!" and she turns permanently into an object before finding him.

Another favourite scene of mine would have to be when the beast, almost optimistically asks Belle to have dinner with him. I can feel his disappointment and denial at how upset he is when she says that she'd rather starve than have dinner with him. It's just a very well acted scene.

I also enjoyed the scenes that showed Belle taking care of the beast after he's wounded whilst saving her from the wolves. That scene was very special because it showed a soft and selfless side of the beast that was vital in showing us how Belle would come to love him and break the spell that him and his servants were trapped in.

Least favourite scenes:

One of my least favourite scenes would have to be when they show the flashback of Belle's mother and how she died. It's quite a lovely and emotional scene (Emma Watson is fabulous as usual) but I feel like it's rather pointless, it felt like the scene was suppose to be a big breakthrough moment but I wasn't sure what the scene was trying to say exactly. However I will give this scene credit because it leads to a wonderful moment between Belle and her father later on in the film when Belle softly and peacefully tells her father about how the beast showed her what happened to her mother. It was lovely to see Belle discover what happened to her mother but it's emotional impact was limited due to how random the scene seemed to me.
