The first orange hued rays of sunrise kissed the still dust laden rubble with the same loving care as the female Animator that took care of the Cheeky Demon. These soft rays that should have brought warmth to a new day only acted to solidify the reality of their losses.

Bendy and Boris were silently sitting in the basement, where a full darkness engulfed from inside of the Animation Workshop. In the dark they had only the smell of the dust and the spilled ink that drips on the floor.

The two Toons stayed still for hours, until they heard a door being unlocked from upstairs followed by harsh steps. The Stealthy Demon stayed still, focusing on the sound of the moving steps , as he tried to guess to whom would they belong. Indeed, Bendy and Boris couldn't tell the time, but their guesses said that it was still an early hour for anyone to start working? The Short Toon - Bendy, wished it was his beloved (L/n), but this hypothesis had to be denied ; (y/n)'s movements weren't harsh as these ones. The female always walked as if she was a waltzing swan dancing on water, which intrigued the Male Horned Toon deeply, making him to run for welcoming his Female Creator. But unfortunately, Those steps were Harsh and loud, slow but raising with each taken step.

Joey Drew.

One may agree, that Joey didn't even look like a man anymore - he went insane. His greed and gluttony over success and revenge drove him to the edge. He was abusing and lying to his workers. He had to sacrifice items to proceed his inhuman rituals. But in order to keep less suspicion about it all, he had to hid it - erase it. Joey and (Y/n) are the only souls that acknowledges about the Living Ink.

But the Male took it too far, his own mind played tricks on him - he thought the Monstrosity of Ink was a gift, a tool From Gods. A secret that will help him bring this Animation to Success and Fame. Alas, it didn't matter. It was too late for everyone.

Returning back to the present, Joey Drew was back at his Animation Studio.

The blackness engulfed Drew's thoughts. At first the darkness of the room must have deceived him, for a minute or two he could make out nothing at all but dark lumps of furniture, the mass of the drawing desks by the wall ; The male manager took slow steps towards the hallway heading to his Ink Machine, he had to start working.

The poor Toons didn't know what was heading for one of them.

At around 5 or 6am, the town was full and busy with life. The casual pedestrians passing by and heading towards their destination- whether it was school, Job, stations , it was their own business and their only. Cars , busses and trains are occupied and Joining the full, busy traffic like any other work day.

"Wait...Joey!?"

Joey Drew, was about the prepare and pull out some of his ritual and mechanical items, but just as he was busy with concentration, he didn't expect two adults to burst.

"Henry? (Y/n)? When did you two come in here?!"

"That's what we should ask you, Joey. It's early in the morning and the begging of our shift - Where the heck have you been disappearing without telling us?!"

Joey seemed irritated for the fact that someone already dared to interrupt him and even threaten him, while on the other hand Henry seemed mad at the fact that Drew pretended that it was normal for someone to disappear. Meanwhile, (Y/n) stood next to Henry, she didn't know how to interrupt them both - but for her luck, several steps and muffled voices were heard from the main lobby.

The three adults' attention was turned towards the voices ; as Henry and (Y/n) knew It must've been the rest of their crew, who already arrived to work.

"It must be Sammy and the rest... I'll go and inform them that Drew is here."

"Alright." - Henry told (Y/n) concerningly, reviving a nod of agreement from her in response. Hearing his steps fade away, Joey Drew and (Y/n)(L/n) were left alone in the Ink Machine Room with a Cardboard Bendy silently Observing them two.

"So You're Back?"

"I had work to finish-"

"WHAT kind of work that required you to leave all of your responsibilities on us, Drew?!"

(Eye-color) orb shone with burning fire and anger, demanding an instant explanation from the older Male who flinched in fear from (Y/n) sudden raise of voice. (Y/n) noticed Drew's hands trembled in exhaustion and loss as she remembered the situation back months ago, when He and the (hair-color) Female argued about the employees and the future; But what (Y/n)didn't notice was the pitch-black cartoonish eyes staring in anger at them two.

"Ugh... were you trying to hide some kind of evidence of your cultist rituals from the world ?"

(Y/n) was familiar with all theses pathetic excuses. To hear Drew's meaningless whines and complains about 'appeasing the Gods' over and over again wasn't anything new to the Female Animator. Neither Drew or (Y/n) understood the importance of today's situation ,But right before the two could heat things up, they heard another familiar voice interrupting them.

"DREW?! he's back?! Wait, he ain't slipping away from me this time ..."

As harsh steps were followed and fastened by running motion, a man filled with inpatients and rage burst into the room, pushing (L/n) right out of his way. Sammy Lawrence was on the verge of his breaking point the moment his eyes laid on (Y/n) and most importantly Joey. Out of all the people, the Music Department Manager - Sammy, was probably the most unbearable and tired from Joey's shenanigans.

Rubbing her shoulder in pain, (Y/n) watched Sammy approach Drew in a startled expression. In (L/n) perspective, everything was going fast - too negatively fast. She was afraid things are only heating up for worse.

Just as she swore she heard a grunt coming up from the cupboard's direction.
