My eyes open and the first thing I see is water. I look to my left. Water. To my right. Water. WHY IS THERE WATER? I scream and try to grasp anything behind me. I frantically try to climb up the wall but not succeeding. My fingers grab something squishy. I turn around as fast as I can and see a DEAD BODY! I quickly push it away and look around. I'm the live person here wait- KATY! She's over there struggling in the water. She can't swim! I never liked her but fineee I'll go save her. Where's Kai?

I paddle over to her and grab her wrist, at first she flinches and tries to pry my hand off. I was tempted to let go and swim out but she got lucky. Where the hell is Kai! I need him.

I looked up, eyes flooded with worry. Only a little air left. I went underwater and grabbed both of her hands pulling her through the bodies and the water chanting "don't go don't go..."
I ignore the whispers and keep pulling her. Where's Kai?

How much does she weigh? God she's heavy.

Over there the emergency exit! I breaststroke over there and pull the handle. I kept pulling and pulling still finally it moved! The bus started sinking at an alarming rate and I pulled her dead weight out.

I make my way out of the sinking bus through the emergency exit and pull her onto the muddy grass. I put my hand over her heart hoping for a beat. Nothing.. eh, to late. I begin to walk away but something in my heart tells me not to. So I run back to her and start the CPR.

A few minutes of hard breathing and sweat, a cough arises from her chest

A few minutes of hard breathing and sweat, a cough arises from her chest. I sit back-relieved that someone else will be here with me.

"Hi Callie- Ka-Kacy?" I say, confused.

She groans and I'm pretty mad that she didn't say hi back. But a groan is good enough for me.
"Um- hi I'm Lila. I just saved you." I say over her coughing waiting for a thank you or a groan.

Suddenly she starts coughing and spitting and gurgling and a wave of vomit washes over me.

"WAS THAT bleeping NECESSARY! I hold my middle finger up mad as hell at her.
"I-I'm s-s-s-orr-y. She said, shivering. I sit back, relieved that she said that she was sorry. But the next thing she coughed out made me regret saving her. "N-not."
I almost slapped her. But I regained my senses and said, "Why are you so bleeping rude," gritting my teeth.
"Becau-s-s-e I didn't want to be s-s-ave-ed! You f-ing bastard!"
I gasp horrified with what she just said, sure I've called people names before and people have called me names, but not to my face! Behind my back I've heard people call me names but I don't usually mind the names because I know that their only jealous so, I forgive them. But this girl, no, she was not jealous, she was just mean. Plain mean old raggedy Ann.

I regained my "composer" and looked back to the water and saw no bus. Well. I'm screwed, I thought angrily. I look around in search of Kai, he was on my mind the whole time I was drowning, saving Callie, arguing with her. My stomach drops as I see a body float to the top of the water. Please don't let that be Kai. Please don't let it be Kai! I sprint over to the water, forgetting about Kacy. Crap! It's a guy!
Kai is my world, my life, my destiny. I can't live without him. I would be nothing.

Tears leak from my eyes like turning on a faucet as I see he's brown haired. No, its a girl, but with short hair. As I get a foot away from her body I use all my strength to flip it over just to be sure. I breathe a sigh of relief. But then her body begins to rise above the water as if the wind was lifting her up to the heavens and everything around her turns white.
