The Midnight Cat {Finnian X Reader}

Ch 6

That's your dress for the dance/ball. I thought the dress matched for something you will find out later in this chapter.

Your POV: (I know I bet ya'll are begging for a new POV but just wait soon my dears, soon.)

The girl with the curly pigtails was supposedly Elizabeth, Ciel's fiancée. "Need air.." I wheezed as she loosened her death grip on me "Ohh I think you would look soo cute in a pink dress!" She looked at me from my hips to my hair, once she got to my face she stopped "What's wrong with your eye?" She lightly lifted my hair away from my eye before I quickly put my hands over it. "I uh.. I need to go.." I quickly walked out the room with Akuma behind me "Did that girl have horn? And how did I not see her she is adorable!" 
I arrived in my room and closed the door "Well you heard the ball of energy we're having a ball tonight. Time to make a dress unless you're wearing a pink fru-fru." Akuma said whilst digging through the closet "I doubt they have and good dresses to use for a base" Akuma popped out of the closet "Tadaa!" She held up a plain black dress stained with a red substance "Perfect!.. What is the red?" Akuma put the dress on a mannequin "Who cares lets get sewing." I rolled my eyes and began getting to work while Akuma searched through the closet for a dress of her own. A few hours past "Done!" the dress was beautiful (the one at top) I was proud of my handiwork "Took you long enough" Akuma yelled from the walk in closet "Says the one still looking for a dress" Akuma stuck her head out "I already found a dress." She stepped out giving a little twirl.

"I'm surprised you found a dress that actually looks good." Akuma rolled her eyes while adjusting the bonnet to cover her horns, she didn't have l large horns just tiny nubs on her head. "Come on sit down I'll do your hair." I sat at my vanity as she began doing my hair. I looked at my hair in the mirror while Akuma tied my eyepatch, my hair was in a bun while two strands of long hair hung down the side and may bangs were held to the side with two pins.

While I brushed Akuma's hair Sebastian knocked on the door "Are you two ready, guest are arriving" I opened the door "Yes.. We're ready." Sebastian walked away "Okay lets do this" Akuma walked out the door and I followed next to her. As we walked down the stairs I could feel eyes on us and could hear people talking,  we walked over towards the piano and Akuma sat down and cracked her knuckles.

I sang Akuma's song while the the audience Ohh'd and Ahh'd. I finished and the crowd applauded, men came up to me asking me to dance but I rejected them. Men also went up to Akuma but she flipped them off and began playing a waltz on the piano. I stood off to the side while people danced as a man in a white tux and blond hair came up to me "Hello, aren't you just a doll." I tried to ignore him "Aww don't ignore me I want to see that pretty face." He handed me a rose "Umm thanks.. But no thanks." I tried to walk away but he trapped me against the wall with his arms "Please let me go.." Finnian walked over and shoved the guy, not hard enough to hurt him but hard enough for him to get off me " I'm sorry but that's not how you treat a lady" He said in his sweet voice, I wasn't gonna deny it I like Finny. Sebastian saw the predicament and walked over "I'm sorry but are we having a problem?" The man in white said nothing he just walked off. "Thank you." I gave a slight bow "It's fine.. Would you care to dance?" Finnian held out his hand, I blushed and took his hand as we walked towards the dance floor.

I could feel eyes on me as I danced, was my dress that different. Finnian was wearing a plain black tux, he looked cute. "You look really pretty F/N" a small blush crept on his cheeks "Thanks you look very handsome." I flashed him a quick smile. The dancing soon came to a stop when guest started leaving, I went up to my room to put on a more simple dress. It was a strapless plain black knee high dress and some silk gloves, I walked back downstairs. I said goodbye to the guest... Even the strange man in white. After all the guests left Ciel said goodbye to Elizabeth and went to bed, and Finny and I stayed up to clean "Hey F/N I wanna show you something" He took my hand and we quietly left the manor and walked around to the back.

We walked through the garden and out the back gate to a secret spot, We walked up the hill that was decorated with beautiful pink flowers. Once we arrived at the top there was a beautiful view of the moon and a large willow tree, we sat down crushing a few flowers but we were so focused on the view we didn't care. I looked up at the stars as lightning bugs flew by leaving a faint glow "Wow it's soo pretty!" I smiled at Finny "Uhh yea it's my favorite place to go to just relax." Finnian looked adorable. I felt his hand slide closer to mine before he placed his hand on top of my hand, we stayed like that for a while until he intertwined his fingers in mine.

It soon got cold and we went back in the manor "Thank you for showing me that, it was really pretty." We both blushed before heading in our rooms, as soon as I entered my room I dramatically flopped on the bed and let out a long girly sigh "What's got you so happy" Akuma asked "Girl stuff" Akuma glared at me "I am a girl" She rolled her eyes "Human girl things." I sighed "You're only half human." I ignored her "Anyway.. I'm hungry."  I glared at her "No." Akuma whined "But you atee!!" She flopped down next to me having a spaz attack "I said no!" Then everything went black, the last thing I saw was an angry Akuma lunging at me.
