The Midnight Cat {Finnian X Reader}

Ch 7

Your POV:
It was dark and cold. I was... Scared. It's been a while since I've been scared but the look in Akuma's eyes... I never want to see it again, I closed my eyes just letting her take over for all I know she could have taken my soul and I could have been dead. The darkness surrounded me for what felt like years until I jolted up to someone shaking me "Huh?" I turned my head and everyone stood there. Teary eyed and scared "Miss F/N! We were so worried. You didn't wake up and when Mey-Rin came in to check on you she said you weren't breathing she even checked your pulse and found nothing! What happened?!" Finny half yelled almost choking on his words "I-I'm sorry I don't know..." I hung my head and ran my fingers through my messy hair when my hands hit something on my head "What?" Everyone looked at me as I stood up and walked over to my mirror. In my reflection stood a girl with long (Hair color) hair and two demon horns poking out of her head. The horns were longer than Akuma's but they were still small even my eye seemed more demonic "W-what happened?!" I fell back trying to recollect any memories but my mind went blank "F/N calm down. Do you remember anything?" Ciel put his hand on my shoulder "No. I don't I remember being scared that's all"
I stayed in my room, I didn't want to come out and they were fine with it. I decided to take my mind off of the problem by doing some sewing, I enjoyed the quiet but it was soon ruined with Sebastian entering my room "Miss F/N are you feeling well?" He set down a cup of tea on the bedside table "Uh yea just.. Confused and I think frightened"  He nodded and left while quietly closing the door. Once I finished sewing I decided to check on everyone, I went downstairs and saved Mey-Rin from crushing herself under the china cabinet and saved the china, I stopped Baldroy from burning tonight's dinner with a flamethrower but I couldn't find Finnian. I walked outside and saw Finnian playing with something and so I walked closer I saw Finny was attempting to help a man with White hair button a suit "Pluto stop squirming!" I giggled and the man stopped and looked at me before running at me and pouncing me "Gah! What are you-" He licked my cheek "Gross!" I shoved him off "Such foul manners!" Finny ran over "Sorry about that we're still training him. He's a hell hound." I cocked my head to the side "He's the hell hound?" 
I pointed to the hound named Pluto "Yup!" Finny said with a smile "Dogs are such strange things, this is why I prefer cats." Just the thought of cats made me happy "Cats can be found all along the garden, you can thank Sebastian for that." ooh so Sebastian likes cats is that a demon thing? Finnian finished dress the Hound and continued the work "Do you need any help?" He picked up one of the stone pillars like it was a feather "Uhh could you tell me where to put this? I cant see" I was shocked at Finnian's in-human strength but I agreed "Okay a little more.. Annnddd there!" He put down the pillar "Done!" He dusted off his hands, Sebastian walked out "Ahh Miss F/N you're out of your room I see and you were quite the help too." I smiled "Ya well you can't be doing all the work. Even a butler needs a break." He gave me a small smile "Why thank you. Now if you can handle that could you do that for a few more days? I need to gather data on a case the Queen has just sent in" He handed me a new uniform and I nodded and he left. I wonder what the mission is, I walked inside and got changed then went to check on the young master. My uniform had a tailcoat tailored to fit me and a miniskirt I quite liked it. I knocked on the door to the study and got no response. I quietly opened the door and saw the young master asleep on his desk, it was pretty late but I didn't expect him to pass out on his desk.

I tiptoed over to his desk and lightly picked him up, he stirred a bit in his sleep but he didn't wake up I carried him to his room and dressed him in a white button up shirt and took his clothes to the washing room. I walked into the wash room and started to wash the clothes, while washing his coat something fell on the floor and slid under the shelf. I got on my knees and peeked under it was his ring "Ooh he's gonna kill me." I reached under attempting to grab it but I couldn't reach I sat up and and took a deep breath before going back to my original position and felt my skirt pull up and I almost had the ring in my fingers "F/N?" I hit my head on the bottom of the shelf "Oww..." I sat up and turned around and saw a blushing Finnian. I quickly pulled my skirt down and turned around "What do you need?" I stood up and dusted off my skirt "Oh I heard your voice and came to check on you" "Oh I umm.. Young master's ring slid under the shelf and I can't reach it." He walked over and picked up the shelf "Thanks" I quickly grabbed the ring and moved back so he could put down the shelf  "Umm may I ask about your strength?" Finnian looked down "I was a test subject. I don't remember much but I know the master picked me up off the streets and took me in." I almost regretted asking but it was nice to know more about the one I have feelings for "That must have been hard to live through. Sorry for asking." He looked up at me "No it's not your fault it's fine!" He gave me a sweet smile that almost made my heart stop "I'm glad. But you should get to bed thanks for your help." He nodded and left, I finished washing Ciel's clothes and hung them to dry. I walked back up the grand staircase and went to check on Ciel,  after that I went to my room and slept for once I actually slept without Akuma trying to take over.

Where was Akuma?

Hope you liked this chapter it was slightly longer but not to long and maybe next chapter I will have some fanart finished of out half demon butler. And I have decided that the head butler must wear a tail coat that is why that is your new uniform.
