I wiped the tears with the back of my hands as Derek continued to rub my back softly, I sniffed and he smiled a sad smile at me. A door slammed making me jump and move closer to Derek, somehow this mean that I hardly knew made me feel protected........... And loved. "Isaac." Derek hissed and Isaac held his hands in surrender, carry about five duffel bags he set them carefully on the floor. "Sorry, Sam your stuff is here." Isaac said softly and I got up only for my knees to give out, Derek caught me by the waist making me blush. I walked over to Isaac pulling him into a hug, he gently rubbed my hair and I let go. "Do you have a shower I could use?" I asked quietly and Isaac nodded leading me to a small, but clean bathroom. "Sam, if you need anybody Derek and I are here." I smiled giving him one last hug before going into the bathroom. I looked in the half cracked mirror and I saw my tears still running down my face, I sniffled throwing some water on my face. I brushed my teeth as I fixed my hair up into a bun, I stripped getting into the shower, as the warm water fell on top of me I let more tears falling down. They didn't deserve to die, they were nice people. I began washing my body a few times before shutting off the water, I climbed out and dried off. I threw on some pyjama's that Isaac had packed, I pulled over my sweater as I hated exposing my body. It's just not me I guess, I picked up the dirty clothes and towel that I had dropped, I walked back up to the stairs and I looked at Derek. I walked in after knocking on the door, he smiled at me as my heart fluttered. "You okay?" He asked pulling me into a soft hug. I felt more protected as his muscles wrapped around me, I sighed before nodding. "I'm fine, thanks for letting me stay here." I said and he smiled. "You can sleep in my bed, I'm sleeping on the couch." He said pointing towards a couch, I nodded smiling as he picked up my dirty clothes putting them in a hamper nearby. I threw Derek a pillow and a blanket and he caught it fast as a flick of a wrist, he smiled before I climbed under the covers. Thinking everything was going to be okay, boy was I wrong.
