Groaning I rubbed the small bump on the back of my head, I fluttered my eyes open seeing a small light above me. I tried to sit up, but a hand sat me back down. "You need to relax." A manly voice said that I didn't recognize. "I'm fine." I muttered and he did a half smile. "I'm Deaton." he said and I nodded. "Samantha." I smiled and he nodded helping me sit up again. "You hit your head pretty hard." He muttered and I nodded. "Yeah, is Lydia okay?" I asked worried and he smiled. "Yeah she's fine, along with the twins." I smiled nodding. "Okay, you're perfectly fine." I nodded standing up. "Thank you." He nodded walking to the other room, I sighed knowing that Derek went to go take of the Darach. I just hope he doesn't get hurt, I walked towards the entrance stopping dead in my tracks when I see the twins laying down on metal tables and Lydia behind one. I hesitate before knocking on the door, they looked up and I made a small smile. "Get better." I promised and they smiled, I made my way out of the veterinary place? I shook my head my hair getting into my face, I looked at the storm seeing dark clouds. I heard a sudden screamed and sighed, "Well then." I said before I started running to where I heard the scream. I saw some figures crowding around a girl pushing her around. "Hey!" I screamed causing there attention to turn to me, she took the opportunity to run off and I smiled. They started walking forward and I stood my ground, their where about 3 guys and I scoffed. Seriously? "Who the fuck are you?" One of them sneered and I balled up my fist. "Your worst nightmare." I said before kicking him to the ground, he groaned as the others grabbed my hair and legs. I still have arms hello? I rolled my eyes punching them in the face, they stumbled back before I ran off to where the hell went. I heard quiet sobs in a dark alley, and I walked down their. "Get away from me?" She screamed and I stopped. "I'm not going to hurt you." I said smoothly and she looked up. It was hard to see her and I helped her stand up, "Are you okay?" I asked and she nodded. "Thank you." She mumbled and I smiled. "Shouldn't you be home?" I asked and she giggled. I started walking her close by my side, a tiny looking house came to my view and I smiled. "If you need me just yell." I told her and she smiled. "I'm Miranda." She smiled. "I'm Samantha.... It was really nice meeting you,but I have to get going." I told her as I saw the sun started setting. She started walking up to her house when I stopped her, "Do you happen to know what time it is?" I asked once I noticed I left my phone at the loft. "Yeah..... Um almost eight." I smiled thanking her before taking off to the loft, I stopped dead in my tracks seeing as Derek and Cora held duffel bags. Derek stopped noticing me as Cora got into the car, "Where are you going?" My voice cracked as tears threatened , "We're planning on leaving for a while." He smiled and wiped my tears away. "Derek." I whispered, I looked into his eyes as they held sadness but his mouth didn't show it. So I knew he was holding it back, "I can't just leave." I muttered and he stepped back a little. "Why?" He asked and I sighed. "I have friends, school...... My mom. " I looked down and tears spilled. "Sorry." I said before he let the duffel bags fall, "You're not coming." He muttered his voice hard. He pulled me in a hug as we both spilled tears, "Sam, babe come." He whispered and I shook. "I wish I could Derek, I wish." I stuttered and I placed a kiss onto his lips, he pulled back into the kiss letting our emotions out. Anger, Sadness, and hurt. "I love you." I said and let out a half smile. "I love you too." He said and I pulled out. "Jennifer is dead right?" I said breaking the silence that was in the air. "Yeah." He muttered and I sighed rubbing my hand through his hair. "I'm going to miss you." I told he let out a small smile. "I'm going to miss you too."
