Chapter 11

Jack POV

We got to the cinema 10 minutes early, just enough time to get snacks! I went up to the counter to get popcorn and sweets along with two cokes to drink "Hey Jack" Kellin's voice calls over to me, I turn my head to see him with Siam close behind us with Siam's friend Lucy and her boyfriend Andy. Me and Alex walked over to them and started talking about random things while walking into the dark room and sitting down before the film started.

A woman's screams shrieked out as the killer found her, I felt a hand grab mine and I squeezes it reassuringly. Alex looked at our hands and smiled slightly, hopefully that's a good sign that he would say yes when I ask him to be mine. I looked over to Kellin to see him whispering to Siam who was hiding her face in his chest and next to them Lucy and Andy chucking popcorn at each other. I looked back down and intertwined my fingers with Alex's and smiled when he squeezed them.

The film finally ended and the lights started to come on brightening the dark room, Alex still clutching my hand, he blushed and pulled it away leaving me frowning for a second until we left to go to Taco Bell, I don't know why Lucy and Andy were coming with us but they were... Oh well who cares? As long as Alex says yes then I'll be happy.

We got to Taco Bell and sat down in a booth we all ordered tacos cause why not it is Taco Bell it's the whole reason we came here, well that and we're all broke... But still tacos! Anyway as I was saying, it was pretty crowded and since Alex had social anxiety and everyone else refused I had to go and order our food like the nice person I am. I got to the front of the line and ordered the tacos tapping my fingertips impatiently on the counter top while I was waiting. I looked back at my friends who were laughing and sighed wondering what was taking so long.

After they finally gave me the food I practically skipped back to the guys which caused them to start laughing at me again. I got back to table and placed the food down on the table and poking Alex in the side "Move up" I said and then sat down beside him.
He pouted at me "Ow what was that for?" He said trying to hold back laughter but failed after I burst out laughing. A few minutes later the whole table was laughing, people from the tables around us started glaring and giving us dirty looks which made me laugh more so I was gasping for air, Alex was doing the same.

We finally managed to stop laughing but we were all gasping for air after our little outburst, people were still staring at us with judgmental eyes. I felt Alex go ridged beside me and turned to see him frozen in place and looking down, his cheeks were bright red and he was shaking slightly. A few seconds later he started hyperventilating still looking down, a few more people started staring at him with pity mixed with anxiety in their eyes. I slowly got out of the booth taking his arm and pulling him up slightly so he could stand and walk outside with me. Before leaving I turned to the guys "I'll be back soon" I say and they all nod.

I walk into the cool evening air with Alex beside me still hyperventilating, I sat us down on a bench and hugged him "shh it's going to be ok just take some deep breaths" I say as he took a few deep breaths. I lifted his head up and wiped his eyes softly, before I knew it I had leaned in and my lips were touching his for a few seconds before I pulled back. Alex looked at me and the next thing I knew he was kissing me again.
