Chapter 6

Rydel POV

I was bored outta my mind. Gahh. I looked up and saw Ratliff. WHAT A FREAKING COINCIDENCE!!! Omg......

He's with a friend and he noticed me. He smiled at me but it looked more like a grin.
He walked up to my table. "Hey rydel! And lori. Long time no see!" He looked at her then at me. I was literally studying his entire face haha typical rydel:p
"Watcha lookin at?" Ratliff said
"W-whut...n-nothing." real smooth rydel...

So Ratliff and his friend Justin sat down and we started chatting. Then Lori and Justin said that they are going to walk around the street. I know that Lori likes Justin,look at the way she looks at him aww.
"So Rydel,how are you? And your family?" Ratliff said
"They're doing great! Riker's planning on proposing to Maddie and well everything's just..good."
"That's good to know. ...... Do you err.. wanna go out some time? Maybe out for dinner tonight?" He asked me
"That sounds great!"
He's smiling so much as if relieved.
And we started talking about random things.

;Back at the hotel

I was deciding on what to wear for my date with Ratliff. I'm so nervous!! I want everything to be perfect!
Suddenly Lori walks in. "Ohmygosh RYDEL EEEEEPPP JUSTIN JUST ASKED ME OUT AND I LIKE HIM ALOTTTTT" she shouts. I giggle. I'm so happy for her.

Lori helped me pick an outfit and pick one for her. We both head out to meet the boys.

Ratliff made reservations at a french restaurant. It was dimly-litted and it felt so cozy and romantic. We had steak and drank wine. We started talking and i keep giggling. Ratliff hasn't changed at all,still the goofy guy i met years ago.

We went up a tower which i don't know what its name.
"Rydel" "i have something to tell you" he said
"Okay.."
He took a deep breath and said "Rydel,i know that it has been years since we last saw each other. And i had missed you all these while. Your eyes. Your smile. Your laugh. Your hair. Your funniness. I missed everything about you. Sometimes i even look through the pictures and videos of us. Rydellington,haha i missed that. And i don't know if you feel the same about me but I love you Rydel." I was close to tears. "I-i love you too-o Ratliff"
He leaned in and i did the same. One of his hand was on my cheek and the other on my waist. I put my hands on his neck. And then our lips touched. Electricity charged through me all over. This was right. Kissing Ratliff.
