Idalys's P.O.V

Before lunch I had my study hall. The time i had to meet Mr.Mendes and i was so nervous. I walk down the cleared halls getting to his door and i lightly knock.

I see him walking towards the door with a smile on his face. Gosh that smile killed me. He opens the door.

Narrator's P.O.V

"Hello Idalys" Mr.Mendes greets allowing Idalys to walk through the door. " You wanted to talk to me?" she asks. " Um-yes. I wanted to talk about the note" He says. " Sir, im so sorry. Jade she can be a little, um inappropriate sometimes. " Idalys says. " Yeah so ive read" Mr.Mendes says chuckling. " But what you said. Thats what I want to talk about" he says. " If im a-um distraction than i don't want to hold you back from your education and it would be best to transfer classes if you have those thoughts about me." Mr.Mendes says awkwardly. " Oh no sir, i would never that could get us both in trouble, well me in trouble." Idalys said looking down. " Correct and please sit down." Mr.Mendes gestures to the desk in front of his. Idalys takes a seat as her heart starts pounding for whats to come. " Your education is important for me and i don't want to ruin that for you, Idalys." Mr.Mendes says. Idalys just nods her head. " Listen, im going to tell you a little bit about my past. I moved here from Toronto, Ontario,Canada. Because the last school i taught at i got fired,but. There was a girl her name was Elena she was a very beautiful girl and a great student. But she was a bad girl at times, she would party on weekends and come to school high. I never said anything to the staff because i thought she would be better, but until she wanted me to tutor her because she was failing my class. I agreed because I wanted her to pass, so i tutored her on Fridays after school. Well she wasn't herself and she tried to get with me. She touched me and did very inappropriate things. So i tried stopping her and she got angry and left. That Monday when we came back, the police and principle were waiting for me in my classroom. She told the district that i tried raping her. And so they fired me and i went to jail, but i was bailed out by my sister, Aaliyah, she's 20. And so i moved here to L.A, were i started fresh. I don't want that to happen again and i don't want to ruin your happiness or education, Idalys. " Mr.Mendes explains with much care. " God, sir. I would never want to ruin your career or do such a thing. And i assure you i've never been invited to a party." Idalys says with a giggle. Mr.Mendes laughs at her since of humor." Okay, good. So do you want to transfer or?" he asks. " No, im good. I like the way you teach " Idalys says. He just nods his head smiling.

Then the bell rang. " Well i should get going" Idalys says getting up. " Yes, of course" Mr.Mendes says getting up to open the door for her. " bye" she says shyly. "Goodbye, Idalys" Mr.Mendes waves.

Idalys's P.O.V

As i walked out of his classroom i had butterflies in my stomach. Why was he so honest with me? It was like i was a friend and not a student. Now that i didn't transfer i don't think i will concentrate in his class. I wiped the sweat off my head and headed to lunch. The thought of my really hot teacher never leaving my mind.
