Gabe's full name is Gabriel Taylor. He's 20 years old, his birthday is August 31st.
Iggy's full name is Igneous (and I never gave him a last name so whatever). He's 19 years old, his birthday is August 7th.
The two met as kids. Gabe had been hopping foster homes and orphanages since he was around 6 years old. He met Iggy and the two became fast friends. After exploring an abandoned house with some other friends, the building caught fire and Iggy got his foot stuck. The other friends bailed and Gabe stayed to help. They made it out alive but both injured. Iggy had to get multiple parts of his body replaced with metal, including his right eye. Gabe has burn scars on his legs.
Iggy was thrown out of his home by his extremely catholic parents, who saw him as a monster, coupled with the fact he's an atheist and they thought he and Gabe were secretly lovers.
Gabe and Iggy, at this point both homeless teenagers, lived on the streets together for years. Neither of them finished high school, and instead worked full time. Eventually they bought an apartment together and they've been living there ever since.

• The two have a very strange relationship. They're childhood friends but also live together and share a bed. They walk the line between best friends and boyfriends and even make jokes about getting married
• The two have made out before. Iggy was wasted after a particularly bad phone call from his parents. Gabe was sober and with Iggy for moral support. A hug or two led to cuddling, then kissing, but nothing more. Iggy doesn't remember any of it, but Gabe does, although he never says anything about it
• Their sleep schedules are almost the completely opposite since Gabe works the graveyard shift most times. Gabe sleeps all day and Iggy works. They still hang out at the in between times, though.
• They won't pay for cable, just internet and Netflix
• Gabe never does the dishes
• Iggy hates doing the dishes all the time
