4~ Old friends

RECAP:

“What a whore, Already all over MY boyfriend.” She spats at Tate. She immediately gets out of my soft grip and runs out onto the street.

“Tate, Wait.” I get out the car and jog out to the street to see her at the corner, Jumping into a familiar dark grey RAM truck.

Mecai.

~Tatum’s P.O.V~

“Thanks.” I say and buckle my belt.

“No problem. What happened back there, That I had to come to the rescue just in time.” Mecai says and drives past school.

“Girlfriend problems with Ashton.”

“Oh. Janessa. They've been broken up for 2 weeks, She just won't listen to him or her brothers. Nope, She won't listen to the whole town.”

“The whole town knows?”

“Yeah. This town was built up with everyone from and who went to Bozeman High School and any other school in Bozeman.. So everyone knows you and what you do. Even if you did it in the forest 30 minutes away from Bozeman.”

“So there's not much privacy here?” I ask. I don't remember this town being like that.

“Not one bit of it. Unless you're the mayor, or part of the mayors family.” He explains and parks at a dunkin donuts(Baskin Robbins). “I’m kinda hungry, Join me.” He says and cuts the engine off and jogs to my side of the door.

“Sure.” I answer unknowingly.

We go inside and instead of an modern type dunkin donuts it looks like a diner from grease.

“This looks so old fashion and cute.” I blurt and sit in a booth.

“It use to be my grandparents diner. Then they died, So when my uncle the oldest sold it for this. The deal was to keep it the same.”

“Thats………Nice.”

“Ima go order, Want anything?” Mecai asks and stands up.

“I’ll have Iced Sweet Tea, and a chocolate chip muffin. Please.” I mumble as he walks away. I pull out my phone and see 2 IMESSAGES, 5 snapchats, 4 chats on kik, And other notifications on Twitter and my blog.

IMESSAGE:

I got a kik from Liora, Syron, Kain, Nyla all saying that they miss me.

I was about to check my blog when I heard a cough. I snapped up and saw Mecai with concern in his eyes.

“Why are you crying?” He puts our food and drinks down and sits next to me, wiping my tears away.

“My friends in Vancouver say they miss me. And the all showed me something. Like my dog Stefan, and Me and my friend Syron’s matching hoodies, and the soccer field me and Liora played on. Pretty much old memories.” I explain as a couple more tears come.

“Stop crying. You have me and your brother. Where did you use to leave?”

“Alright. I lived in Vancouver.”

“That only 3 hours away. I'm sure you could buy a ticket and see them whenever, or they come here.” Mecai tries to reassure me.

“I didn't think of that.” I smile knowing that I can see them whenever.

“There's that smile I've been waiting to see. lets eat.” He moves to the other side and passes me my order.

“Thanks.” I eat. We sit in silence for awhile.

“So, What do you do to keep your mind of things.” I have a blog.

“Soccer, Volunteer, longboard.” I say instead. Only one of my friends know I have a blog. Syron. Only if he were here.

“That's cool. Whoa, you're the first girl I know who longboards.” Yeah cause your town is full of prissy teens that mark their faces with whale vomit, fish scales, and shark liver. Minus well throw them in the ocean.

“Thanks.” I finish my tea and muffin and so does Mecai.

“Just in time. Lets go back to prison.” Mecai jokes and opens all the doors for me. We get in his truck and he starts the engine. We get to school in 3 minutes and we had 5 minutes to get our stuff and head to class. Its 5th period so like 11 in the morning. We don't have lunch till 12. Mecai is a senior so I don't really see him. So is Ashton, Mason, and Janessa. I walk into Chemistry, and see a bunch of nerds mostly males but 3 girls, me being the 4th.

~Ashtons P.O.V~

“What are you doing here?” I snap at Janessa as I see Mecai drive off with Tate.

“I want you back baby.” She says batting her eyelashes.

“I DON'T WANT YOU BACK!?! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!?!? WHY DON'T YOU GO FUCK AROUND WITH THE OTHER SPORT PLAYERS HERE. EVERYONE KNOWS YOU WANT TO FUCK EVERY LIVING BODY IN BOZEMAN. EVEN YOUR OWN FUCKING PARENTS. NOW IF YOU’LL EXCUSE ME, I NEED TO GET A GIRL I WOULD ACTUALLY LOVE TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH.” I yell and get back into the Audi, I roll down the window. “Don't bother talking to me, and can you get off my property.” I spat more calmly. She moves I see hurt and madness in her eyes. I drive off and close the garage and look throughout town, looking for Mecais truck. I decide to call him.

“Audrey please call Mecai.” I press the voice control button and talk to Audrey my dad called her that.

“Yes sir. Calling Dumb-ass Mecai is this right sir?” I laugh at the name I actually put in my phone for him.

“Yes Audrey.” The sound of the phone ringing goes off. After 10 rings it goes to voice mail. ‘Aye Oo this is Mecai you know what to do at the beep.’ I slam the wheel and see I have 2 minutes to get to school and class. I step on it and park. I lock the door and run to class full speed.
