xmas.

I got the kids ready in their Christmas best. Jack was picking us up from here, and we were gonna go to my moms, then Jacks. I was scared. I would be meeting his family for the first time. Jack pulled up and brought Bria in. We all managed to color coordinate. We honestly looked like a family. We made it to my moms, gifts and all. It was our first stop, we were gonna go to jacks moms after. We all ate and I got to be with my kids, which made me happy because even after a day I missed them. I gave everyone their gifts, including the kids and Bria. I took jacks hand and led him outside. My family was being loud as always. I handed him his box and crossed my arms.

"Here. I don't know how many you have but.." I said. He kissed my head and opened it. I had gotten him a new watch. He smiled and put it on.

"I love it. Here." He said handing me a small box. I slowly opened it, and there was a ring inside.

"Jack.." i said.

"A ring as beautiful as that, deserves to be worn by someone as beautiful as you. " he said.

"Jack.. I- thank you.." I said. He slowly slipped it on my finger and took my face in his hands.

"Of course" he said. I leaned in a kissed him. We made our way inside, and we realized my whole family was watching. My brothers began clapping and welcoming jack to the family. Good idea? Not sure. We weren't official or anything. I loved how they treated him though. They always hated Mason, but they absolutely loved Jack. I watched as he helped my family clean up. The way he interacted with my kids. Everything. We went to his moms after, and she introduced me to... well everyone. I met aunts and uncles. Cousins, family friends and everything in between.

"I want you to meet his sisters!" She said, walking me over to them. I was terrified to meet the girls who I was told were completely picky when it can't to girls for jack.

"Girls this is Lai. Lai this is Laura and Molly" she said. They scoped me up and down. My heart began to race and they shook my hands which were trembling.

"So you're the girl Jack is obsessed with" Molly said. I blushed slightly

"I-I guess so?" I said. Laura smiled a little and sat me next to them.

"So the twins are yours?" She asked. I nodded.

"Belle and Emmett" I said.

"They're adorable" Molly said.

"Thank you.." I said.

"And you're Bria's teacher?" She asked. I again nodded.

"Awe so you love kids.. well I would hope you do considering.. you know twins... but good. We have a ton of kids in this family. Question, why aren't you married? You're beautiful. Are you crazy?" Laura asked. I laughed and shook my head

"I get asked that A LOT. but no.. I was married to the father of the twins.. and I don't keep this part of my life secret because it's part of who I am.. we got married because we were 18 and having twins and it seemed like the right thing to do.. he started drinking once they were born and started hitting me.. he almost killed me once.. he put me down constantly, and when he said he could kill me and get away with it, I left.. I couldn't take it.. but then I came here and started over.. haven't heard from him thankfully.. and I met jack and.." I said, and felt myself smile.

"He's honestly one of the best things that's happened to me, and we aren't even officially together.. my family loves him.. my best friend loves him.. my kids adore him.. and I'm falling for him.. and I want you guys and your family to like me because I know how important you guys are to him.." I said, rambling. Molly grabbed my hands and laughed.

"PLEASE WE LOVE YOUUUU" molly said. I relaxed

"Oh thank god" I said laughing. They started laughing and Laura smiled.

"Jack is lucky to have found someone as strong as you.. he needs that kind of strength and support.. he needs you in his life.. you guys will be perfect together" she said. My shoulders relaxed and I smiled.

"Thank you Laura.." I said.

"And now you have two sisters" Molly said.

"Thank god, growing up the youngest of 3, with 2 older brothers who are twins wasn't fun" I said. They smiled, and jack came over.

"Here you goooo" he said handing them gifts. I know he really just wanted to know what we were actually talking about.

"Thank you brotherrrr" Molly said pinching his cheek. Jack groaned and she smiled, content with his response. They walked away and I tried to hold my laughs in. Jack winked at me, and he continued to give out gifts. Emmett sat with jack after, and handed him his toy car he had gotten. Emmetts eyes lit up as jack interacted with him, and I watched jack as he played with Emmett. He was so kind, and loving towards him, basically treating him like one of his own. The same with belle. He pretended to know exactly what she was talking about in regards to the princess costume his mom got her. He nodded and said a bunch of 'uh huhs' which made belle perfectly content. She even hugged him. Eventually I caught myself just looking at him. I just looked at him. His smile, his personality. The way he treated us. I loved it. Frankly.. if I'm being honest.. and I knew with everything in me that if I said it out loud, it meant it was true which is what I was afraid of. I fell for him.

I was falling for him. Harder than I have ever fallen for another man before, if that sounds crazy. I felt safe with him. He wasn't pushy.. he understood EVERYTHING. he took my life, and molded it with his. He loved my kids as if they were his own, and I loved Bria. One thing was for sure. That I didn't wanna be with anyone else. And hopefully..

Hopefully he felt the same.

"He's a cutie isn't he.." Katherine said. I felt myself smile and I nodded.

"Yeah.. jacks a keeper.." I said smiling. Her eyes lit up, because she knew it meant I wasn't going anywhere.
