Amy POV
I heard Trixie scream and I pushed myself into a defense position as clouds of dust blew from the door that had just exploded. Relief flooded through me when I saw Kitty coughing behind the once was door.
"You scared me! That was evil!" I laughed, Trixie stared at me in astonishment.
"Don't worry she’s with us, though you could have been a little less obvious." I smirked.
"Well once we kill the big old mighty emperor then we're free right?" She laughed, it had been a while since I've seen her this happy.
"What about me," Trixie whimpered. She looked comical, her hair was in a mess and her makeup smeared.
Kitty stared at her, "You're a traitor you go down with them,"
"Please no, they forced me into it!" Tears started falling down her cheeks. "I had a son Cody he was two, they threatened to kill him, they would make him accidentally cross the busy, busy street without Daddy looking or he'd slip and hang himself in the blinds or he'd take a nasty tumble down the stairs. I had to say yes!"
"Did you know about this?" Kitty asked me. I shook my head.
"Look its too late, we'd better get out of here before she blows taking us with her," Kitty whispered to me. I nodded.
But before we could run off a boy I'd never seen before ran to us, he cursed loudly and punched the wall making it crumble.
"We've lost him! We bloody lost him after all this time!"
Kitty's smile fell.
"Am I safe?" Trixie whispered.
Kitty glared at her dangerously.
"I can help you," Trixie whispered.
"You will help us catch him whether you like it or not," Kitty hissed and stormed off. I helped pull Trixie up.
"Ssh! Don't make a sound, we need to get out alive."
She nodded seriously, I smirked.
"Lets roll then."
She's different but I like her, I don't really like much people but she's cool. In her own way.
"Take your heels off, they're making too much noise," I whispered to her, she obeyed and took of her bright scarlet 6 inch heels.
"You must be given a big cheque, huh?"
"Um I did, I think I've been made redundant now," She smiled weakly, I laughed.
We trailed down the corridor.
"Its bloody long!" I cried out, she smirked.
"It takes about half an hour to reach from one end to another." She told me.
“So about Cody…” I mentioned awkwardly.
She shook her head, “Please don’t.”
I heard voices coming around the corner, beckoning silently to Trixie I led her to another cupboard and we sat there until the people had passed.
“What is it with us and cupboards, eh?” I joked.
“You’re really jokey, how can you be like that in a world like this?” She asked, she looked curious.
“Um well I just laugh. A lot.”
“So what’s up with Kitty, I liked her before she started acting like she was on her period.” Trixie asked.
“Kitty is probably the most focused rebel on their hands, her parents were killed because her dad refused to help the Chosen into his company,” I told her.
“Oh right I think I heard about that,” She replied daydreaming.
