As suddenly as I had been dragged up on stage, I was being dragged into a tour bus.
What is it with these two and dragging people?
The butterflies in my stomach were totally alive now but something else started to bubble to the surface too. Something that had been pushed to the back of my brain, that suddenly decided to make an appearance.
Anxiety. Or to be more clear... I was having a panic attack.
I don't know what triggered it. I have a faint idea but I didn't expect one to happen today.
I could feel my hands becoming sweaty, my breath getting heavier, my heart beat faster. The familiar burning sensation rose to my head and I could feel the tears stinging my eyes.
"Well here's the bus, Rose? What's going on? Are you okay?" Josh asked, a concerned tone in his voice, a tone I knew all too well from all the others that have asked those exact questions.
I shook my head in a no motion and Josh pulled me inside, locking the door so that no one else was able to come in.
"Rose? Rose? Talk to me." Josh said, making me sit down on the small sofa, him sitting next to me and rubbing my back.
"P p panic a attack." I stammered out, the tears pouring out of my eyes now.
Before I could say anything, josh wrapped me in a tight hug, gently pushing my hair off of my face.
"It's okay, shhhh, it's okay. Let it all out." He whispered. I almost immediately felt better.
"Thankyou." I whispered into his chest. His arms made me feel more at home than anything ever has.
"It's fine. I've had anxiety for years, hey I found something we have in common!" Josh said, making me giggle.
"Do you want a blanket? I don't know about you but blankets always make me feel better. I don't know why, they're just comforting." Josh asked, a cute little smile on his face.
"Sure, and Thankyou again Josh. You have no idea how much this means to me." I replied.
"Well it's not everyday you meet someone as gorgeous as you." Josh said, so quietly that again I almost missed it. I blushed and he left into what I assume was his bedroom to grab a blanket.
"Hey Rose?" He called out from his room.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"You don't have any other plans right?" He asked.
"Nope, why do you ask?" I said, curious as to what he could be implying.
"Well, do you like movies? Like movie marathons?"
"Who doesn't?" I replied, I could hear his hearty laugh after that and it made me smile.
"Well, would you have a movie marathon with me? Like now? I just thought it'd be fun! Plus I'm kinda tired and hungry. Tyler's getting Taco Bell. You want anything?" Josh said, firing a million questions at me.
"Movie marathon sounds good! Actually, I am a bit hungry, here I'll just grab my purse...." I said, looking into my bag for my purse when Josh snatched it away.
"Hey!" I yelled, jumping up to grab it back from Josh, but he held it out of my reach.
"I'm buying you dinner and there's nothing you can do about it!" Josh said like a 2 year old telling their mum that they're going to live in the backyard like Tarzan.
"No! I won't let you!" I replied, jumping up trying to reach my bag, but I ended up just falling over and landing on Josh, making him fall over.... with me on top of him.
We both cracked up laughing and didn't notice Tyler walking into the van.
"Hey guys what do you want me to get.. OMG! GET A ROOM! GROSS!" Tyler yelled at us, naturally assuming something that definitely wasn't happening.
"Dude, we literally just fell over. Nothing big happening bro." Josh replied, laughing almost, nervously?
"Yeah sure, just text me what you want. They'll be closing soon." He said, and he disappeared as suddenly as he'd appeared.
"Well...." Josh started.
I grinned, "What movies were you thinking of Joshy?"
"Really, Is Joshy all ya got Belle?"
"Well Jim, let me teach you a lesson in nick names, never call me belle, because I swear to god, I will kill you!" I said, playfully punching his arm.
"Fair cop. Shall we watch beauty and the beast then?" Josh said with a huge smirk on his face.
I swear, he is the cheekiest person I have ever met.
