Destiny

I saw two more very large males in the main area of the cabin and they both looked at me like I was a walking miracle. I quirked an eyebrow at them, "What?" The taller one that looked just like Beau spoke first, "Sorry, love, but we didn't expect you to be up and moving so soon. Your back was pretty bad and you had a bit of poison." I nodded, "Well, I'm Destiny." He grinned, "I'm Tucker, Beau's youngest brother, and pack doctor." The other man wasn't quite as tall, but still massive with bleached and spiked hair and hazel eyes. He smiled at me, "I'm Cam, moron's best friend, and Beta." I eyed the two for a second, my wolf and I liked them. Then it hit me, His Beta, that meant, "Aw shit, you're an Alpha?"

Beau nodded slowly, looking just a tad scared. "Are bears as territorial as wolves?" I asked and Cam snorted, "No, we don't pee on our women." I chuckled, "Good, damn Alpha wolves drive me fucking crazy." Beau looked relieved, then he sighed, "We need to rest, then get back to base so that we can check in. I would love to go home soon." I nodded and a lump formed in my throat, home. I was moving, I wouldn't be with my parents anymore, no more of Dad's tough love, no more of Mom's patient guidance or pancakes. I looked up at Beau through my lashes and he was staring at me, "What's wrong, Little mate?" I sighed and fought back the tears, "Who is your Master of Arms? Can I still train with your pack? I won't do well if I am caged." He smiled at me, "Of course you can, my other brother is Master of Arms, Aden. He would love more people to train. We have a small pack, but we are strong." I nodded and we all settled in to get some rest.

Morning came too soon. I stretched and climbed out of the only small bed in the cabin. The sight in the common area had me chuckling. Three large brown bears were scattered around the room, curled up in balls, snoring. I tipped toed through the room, moving silently, like my Dad had taught me and searched the small kitchen for something to make for breakfast. I found a few things, pancake mix, chocolate chips, and coffee. That would work for right now. I got to work making breakfast for everyone. The rumbles started right after the coffee finished brewing and Cam stumbled into the kitchen, wearing nothing but a pair of gray sweats. I would be lying if I said he wasn't incredible. He grinned at me, "I thought you didn't want to be barefoot in the kitchen?" I smirked, "I thought bears were always hungry, but if you don't want chocolate chip pancakes-" I was cut off, "No, I didn't mean it! These are my favorite!" I chuckled as I set a plate in front of him with a mug of black coffee.

Next, the brothers filed in, the view just kept getting better. Tucker was a fine looking male, but Beau, just wow. Rippling muscles, smooth tanned skin, it had my mouth watering. I met his eyes with a slight blush and he grinned at me. I threw him a wink as I set down coffee and pancakes for each of them. "I know it's not much, but I thought it would hold us over until we could get a real meal." I shrugged as I sat down with my own plate. "It's great, more than I was expecting." Tucker mumbled through a mouth of pancakes. I shuddered, "Are you sure you're a bear and not a pig?" He snorted at me and I chuckled. We finished off breakfast quickly and cleaned up before heading to check in.

We were met by Alpha Kane and the King. "Shit, D! I was worried sick!" He hugged me and I yelped a bit at the sudden pain. He let go quickly and turned me around, lifting my shirt and growled. "What the fuck?" I pulled my shirt down and sighed, "Rouges with poison. There were four of them. I took out three before Beau smashed the forth." Kane cringed, "Well, you did good, D. I'm proud of you, but where's your mark?" Beau stepped forward and put a hand on my shoulder. "I wasn't going to mark her while she was injured, rules be damned. It could have killed her and I wasn't about to risk her life." The King smiled, "Now, Beau. Calm yourself, it's ok. Sometimes these things happen. I am just glad that no one was killed. These rouges are becoming a serious issue. Was it wolves or?" I nodded, "Yes, sir. It was wolves, they weren't even sick yet." He nodded and patted Beau on the back before leaving. Kane looked at me with sad eyes, "I'm sure going to miss you, Kiddo."

Beau stepped forward and extended his hand to Kane, "Alpha Beau of the Oak Hollow pack, Sir. It is a pleasure to meet you." Kane gripped his hand, "I am Alpha Kane of the Redwood pack. I am glad you found her, she's a good kid, strong warrior, and like a daughter to me." He smiled at me and Beau beamed, "I'm glad too. I would like to get together soon and talk about perhaps an alliance." Kane smiled at him and nodded, "Of course, that would be great for both packs. Thank you, we will be in touch. D, behave yourself and don't tear up too many bears." He said with a laugh as he turned and walked away. I was about to open my mouth when I was cut off by a shrill scream. I whipped my head around to see Britany glaring at me and charging towards me. "How in the hell did you land a fucking Alpha? I'm an Alpha's daughter, I should be a Luna, not stuck with some fucking pack warrior." I rolled my eyes, typical Britany. Her overly bleached hair and caked on makeup was horrible, much like her attitude.

"Shut up and go make your mate miserable, Britany." She stomped her foot, "And you get to stay close to home, while I'm going all the way in Canada." I turned my back to her, ignoring her. That is when she tried to grab me. I spun around and nailed her right in the nose, breaking it. "Do not ever touch me. Now, go have you mate lick your wounds, Princess and leave me the hell alone." I growled at her as she screamed and ran off, cradling her broken nose. I looked at the three men standing there with grins on their faces, "Oh, Aden is going to have sooooooo much fun with you." Cam chuckled.
