Destiny
I remember the pain, the screaming, the complete and total exhaustion of giving birth to my twins, but when Beau walked in carrying two tiny bundles, I forgot it all. He handed me one, "This is our son, Wyatt." He was perfect, bald, blue eyes, pink skin, perfection. He handed me the second bundle, "This is our daughter, Maya." Her head was covered in dark curls, but her eyes were closed, she was perfect too. After I fed both babies, Beau took them and placed them in their bassinettes. He turned to me, "You should rest, Love." He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead and I was drifting to sleep.
I was in my own room the next morning, but I was still a bit sore. Beau brought me breakfast in bed. Cam and Chelsea came to visit for a while, then Aden and Corey, they cooed over the babies. It was late in the day when Tucker poked his head in. I smiled and waved him in. "Where have you been, mister?" He smiled and hugged me, "I was scared." He whispered and I quirked an eyebrow at him, "Why?" He shrugged, "You are scary when you were having the babies, I heard all the screaming and I didn't know if you were ok." I laughed, "You are so silly, you're a doctor, you never had a delivery before?" He shook his head and I laughed again.
The days passed quickly and soon, it was time for the 'Mating Chase', this time, Tucker would be going. I was excited for him, I wanted him to be happy. He bid us goodbye and we watched him go. Beau groaned, "Another female, why!" I smacked him, "See that's my point, you are all so violent."I growled and he took off running. I took off after him, "You can run away, Beau. You caught me once, now it's my turn to catch you."
A week passed and Tucker came home sporting a fresh mark and a beautiful mate. She was painfully shy. She was slightly taller than me, with red hair and freckles, she was adorable. "Mae, this is my brother and the Alpha, Beau and his mate and the Luna, Destiny." The girl bowed, "Pleased to meet you, Alpha, Luna." I shook my head, "Please, you are family, you can call me Destiny or D and you can call this big ass, Beau." Her golden eye blinked in surprise before she giggled at the playful glare Beau threw me. He then threw his hands in the air and in a very feminine voice, said, "I cannot believe you called me fat." Before pretending to throw his hair over his shoulder and swaying hips as he walked away.
The three of us laughed so hard, tears streamed down our faces. I looked at Mae and shook my head, "Well, you are stuck with us now." She smiled and grabbed Tucker's hand, looking up at him with pure adoration. I couldn't help but smile. Beau came back into the living room with Wyatt and Maya. Mae was immediately taken with them, begging Tucker for lots of babies, just like them. Of course, he told her yes, who could say no to her, she was truly the sweetest person.
Our family continued to grow over the years, Cam and Chelsea had four children total, Aden and Corey adopted three, Tucker and Mae had a whopping twelve before Mae told him she would cut it off. As for Beau and I, we had the twins, plus four more. Our pack continued to grow and thrive.
