Eliza tackled the first goon she saw. After she knocked him out, we gave her high-fives and then took whatever weapon he had on his hands. A few seconds later more and more of his goons came and attacked us. Of course, without breaking much of a sweat, we defeated all of his goons.

"Great job, ladies. Now, to his office."

We ran towards the elevator and pushed the number 50 as it is the last floor of the building.

"Okay. We should be there in a few." Eliza said, calmly. And so we played the waiting game.

We waited.

And waited.

And waited.

"We should've taken the stairs."

"Oh? Do you wanna run from the ground floor up to the 50th floor?" Angie asked, obviously annoyed by me.

"Well, I do have the gadgets. I should be fine." I answered back.

"Well, little miss impatient, we're in the elevator now and there's no turning back." she exclaimed as I grunted.

After what seemed to be forever, the elevator dinged and we finally stepped right outside the doors to his office.

I have to admit, I was shaking as I realized that we're finally going to find out who the culprit is. Okay, just breathe, Peggy. The Schuyler sisters can do this.

We can do this.

"Angelica, are you okay? You seem to be off all of a sudden." Eliza asked as we both looked at her, confused.

"I-I'm fine, Eliza. Thank you. Let's go, sisters."

"Wait. Angie, are you sure you're okay? I'm kinda worried about you." I asked her.

She took a deep breath and answered, "Yeah, Pegs. I'm just really nervous about this. Thank you, anyways." she smiled.

"No problem. We're always here for you." I said as Eliza nodded. "Yeah, Ang. We're the Schuyler sisters and we always have each other's backs even though we're so annoying." Eliza said, trying to diffuse the tension. And it worked as we laughed.

After a few minutes of trying to relax ourselves, we finally opened the doors.

It was quiet.

Too quiet.

"Welp. Nobody's here. Let's go-"

"Ah. So, you've decided to show up? I was wondering whether or not you were coming to see me." The voice said. It sounded kinda familiar, I can't put my finger on it.

"Show yourself! And don't try to escape! One step from you outside this building and the authorities will be coming for you!" Eliza declared.

"Oh, I won't be escaping, dear. In fact, it is you who should be escaping after I do this!" We heard a press of a button and it triggered a trap. Us tied in a rope above a shark pit.

Awesome. Wow.

I looked at both Angie and Eliza, waiting. They looked at me, confused.

"What?" They both said.

"I'm waiting."

After a few seconds, Angie gave up. "Oh alright. Fine. You're right, and we were wrong. It's a trap! Happy?" She scoffed. I smirked.

The voice laughed. It really is familiar! Why can't I point out who this man is?! I'm usually good at this stuff, why can't I point out who this is?

"Oh you three are such a charm! Such a charm indeed. I'm sorry I can't save you from this mess. I can't let anyone know the truth."

"You son of a-!"

"Ah ah! Language, my dear Peggy!" My dear Peggy? Wh-

Oh.

My.
