So the performance was over...wow impressed the guests...I enjoyed it thoroughly...In the meantime we all were leaving...it was 9pm...
I saw Nandini looking for a cab... I stopped the car and asked her to get in... and she nodded... I was opening the door of the car to let her sit in the front side that my evil twins came...yes yes that Cabir and Mukti...
"Bhai humein v drop kar do" They said in unison and i nodded...
"Hey Nandini..tum na peeche bethe...i will sit with bhai..." and he winked me huh😏
"Mukti.. tumhe kuch kehna hai.." I asked her in annoyance
"No bhai...Cabir ne toh kar diya..i mean keh diya...so i don't have to say anything..."
"Yeah..of course Cabir..." and i grinned 😬
"So bhai chale "
"Yeah"
I got into the car..Nandini was just behind my i mean driver's seat... I switched on the Red FM .... A couple of songs were being played... Everyone was enjoying the drive .... Cabir was busy changing the FM stations.... i guess thats why he was in the front seat😒 Suddenly on Red FM a song was being played ...and Nandini shouted..
"Cabir please don't change the song.. its my favourite hero's first movie - Ishq Vishq song ..." She pleaded
"Let it be Cabir ..its her favourite song" I told
"Han..han...kisi ka favourite hai yeh..." And i rolled my eyes and asked him to keep mum..

(Manik remembers the days spent in the camp...their trekking..their eyelocks.... similarly Nandini's eyes were fixed on Manik... and she too was lost in thinking...)
The song came to an end so does the car stopped with a jerk and there was Nandini's home beside the road...
Nandini stepped out and Manik followed her...
"Nandini...."
"Hann...."
"You're Fine na..."
And Mr Paglu Dil snapped me " kya bol rha hai..tu Manik?"
"Haan ...I am fine...Tumhe kuch kehna tha?
"No... nothing like that" I said and was confused what to say..I wanted to spend more time actually
"Okay..so bye..and thanks for dropping me"
"Thanks...oh yes yes...i remember i wanted to thank you...so Thank you Miss Nandini Murthy..."
" Mujhe kyun Thank you kehna tha tumhe"
"Woh..you suggested the group song na...and it was pretty good.. isliye"
"Mention not Manik... it's okay.."
"Ab ghar drop kar diya..rehne ka irada hai kya Manik??" poked Cabir
"Tumhara bhai shayd bula rha hai...you go Manik..now i can go alone"
"Oh yes...okay..so bye take care ... goodnight"
"Bye Manik" and she started walking...and I was waiting for her to turn back...
"Palat.. palat...palat..." screamed Paglu Dil
And she turned..and we both me n Mr Paglu Dil elated in joy😄😄😄
"Ho gaya tera..ab chale" Cabir started
"Haan..n tu na maar khayega mujse"
We reached home... I went to bed after dinner... and was lost in her thoughts ... 😍😍😍😍
