"Gladice" Mom cooed on my ears while she's rubbing my arms softly.
I can hear my alarm clock blaring at the background. The sun burning my exposed arm so I did what any lazy person will do.
I wrapped my blanket around me properly, probably looking like a cocoon and turned away from my mom.
"What is it, mom?" I groaned. I should've slept early last night. If not because of the stacks of projects and assignments the evil witches, aka teachers, assigned to their students, but also due to Rachelle bugging me about her new bag her father gave her.
"Rachelle's already outside. Wake up now or else you're going to be late for school." Mom said.
After that, she went out of my room while I roll on my bed for a while and I just drag myself towards my bathroom.
I hate mondays.
Letting the warm water run down through my skin, waking and relaxing me. I applied my shampoo and soap.
After a few more minutes inside the bathroom, I finally got out and put on my skinny jeans and a white cottony sweater finally adding a black and white converse.
Yeah, I know. My walk in wardrobe contains a lot of fashionable clothes but I don't feel like wearing any of those to school just because it's a complete waste of time.
"I made breakfast, honey. I already ate ahead of you." Mom said as soon as I went downstairs. I looked at her as she walks around the house, arranging her stuff and also her.
"I'm also not coming home tonight. Those drug dealers doesn't know when to rest. See you, honey. Be good and always lock the doors and windows." She smiled at me as she pecked my cheeks and leave.
My mom is a police officer. And I admire her for that. There was one time she went home late but I was still up and watching a movie at the living room when she burst inside the house. Ranting that she will show them what a lady can.
I asked her about it and she told me that some of the guys at her team doesn't trust her to go out the office just because she's a woman. A week later though, she was awarded by the head due to being the one who solved the mystery behind the killing of the family downtown.
I looked at the dining table and there's bacons, eggs, and rice. I smiled as I sit down. I just remember that Rachelle is outside so I started consuming the food as fast as I can.
I grabbed my water bottle and mouth wash as I leave the house making sure everything's locked. I waved at the black mattè porsche waiting for me outside the house.
As you can tell, Rachelle's stinking rich. She can have whatever she want in just a snap of her fingers. But that's not why I befriended her. Hell no. It's because of the first week of school, she was there with me.
Seems a weak explanation yet that's the truth. I became close to her due to us spending a lot of time together.
As I hopped inside of the car, she's applying red bold lipstick then she made the pop sound using her lips.
I never get women wearing make up that thick but I won't judge. I got the answer I need when I asked that to Rachelle once. Never gonna do it again.
"Took you so long." She said in a monotonous voice as she starts the car.
"Sorry. I woke up late. Mom still needs to wake me up." I just said to her while wearing my seatbelt.
She hummed in response as she started driving towards school.

I hopped off of Rachelle's porsche and walk towards the entrance of our school named Quartzel University.

Romansa"Come on, Gladice! Let's go!" Soph said as she tug me towards a mini bar. Now I don't know about bars or even mini bars. Heck, this is the first time I've went to downtown all because of this goofballs request to go and see Carl performing. I don't...
