As time passed by, our table was full of talks and fits of laughter. I can't believe I'm hanging out with this people.

Like yesterday, the three of us were just eating with each other as always. Then suddenly this.

But then, Sophie isn't here. I wonder where Sophie is. She only misses lunch when she really needs to. At least that's what some of her classmates said.

I'm not a stalker, okay? My classmates are.

"Hey Carl, where's Sophie?" I asked him and he smiled at me.

"She's studying in the library. She said that she wants to catch up with the three tests from Mr. Bohn. I don't even understand why she wants to take those. But you know, Sophie cares a lot about her grades more than herself." He said while giving me a sad smile and I just nodded at him. I smiled back and suddenly the bell ring. All of us stands up and grabbed our bags.

"Well, see ya around guys." Jared said coolly and smiled at the three of us and we just nodded at them.

The three guys just waved at us and we waved back at them.

"I can't believe this." Rachelle said and squealed. Brent just shook his head and pecked my lips.

We all walked towards our classroom while Rachelle kept on blabbering about the guys on how kind and hot they are.

I love this girl but sometimes she fangirls too much that I will probably think she'll kiss the ground her idols stepped on.

And this went on until the bell ring signalling that the class is over and we're allowed to go home.

Rachelle and I were looking around for Brent's car but it wasn't even there. I frowned in disappointment that maybe he already forgot what day it is.

Rachelle got a text and immediately said that she needs to go and she can't give me a ride.

Wow. Thanks for leaving me here. Alone. No car to ride with. No one to talk to.

So I decided to walk to the bus stop when suddenly a familiar black Mercedes car stopped in front of me.

I raised my eyebrows at the tinted window and it suddenly rolled down revealing Carl's handsome face smiling at me. I smiled back and greeted him.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't your boyfriend pick you up?" Carl asked me and I just shake my head on what he said.

"I don't know where he is and my best friend said she needs to go so she can't give me a ride."

Carl smiled at me. "Hop in. I'll give you a ride home." Carl said and opened the passenger seat.

"Oh no. It's okay. I'll just wait for the bus." I shake my head while smiling at him.

Carl just smiled at me. "Please? I don't want anything bad happening to you. You're hot and I don't want any other stranger taking advantage of that." My cheeks warmed up by him being concerned to me so I gave up and hopped inside his car.

I put my seatbelt on and smiled at him.

"Thank you, Carl." Carl chuckled and smiled.

"It's nothing. You're a friend of Sophie, so it means you're my friend also. So it's okay for me to do this for you." I nodded at him and looked outside the window.

"It's really amazing on how fast you've been close to Sophie. Like, you know who she is, she regularly doesn't like new people and just flat out ignore them but with you," Carl chuckled and nodded.
