Chapter 15

Ch.15

Elena's P.O.V.

Two days after the fight Harry still hadn't forgiven Louis and every text and call had been ignored. Niall, the sweet guy he is, came by yesterday bearing food. Him and Harry had a long discussion in the kitchen which I didn't bother to eavesdrop on, and judging by Niall's face when he left, he had forgiven Harry for his harsh actions. I walked into the kitchen and sat on Harry's lap.

"You okay?"

"I'm great babe." He smiled and kissed me.

"I was thinking.."

"Yes?"

"You're going away soon."

"And?"

"I don't want to wait any longer. I love you Harry." She kissed him and his eyes lit up. He looked at her with astonishment, not sure if he had heard those words come out of his sweet innocent  angel's mouth. They walked out of the kitchen hand in hand.

Zayn's P.O.V.

I walked out onto the patio at Starbucks. Lindsey reached out to me and grabbed her coffee. I handed Liam and Joanna theirs.

"Everybody ready to go?" Liam asked.

"Ready!" Lindsey chimed in.

We were going to the beach for the day. Niall and Christina had a full day planned, or so Niall said. Maybe Niall just needed time to cool down after the Harry incident. We figured we all needed a little break, and this was that little break. As we all piled into the car I slipped my arm around Lindsey, making sure to catch her eye and flash a winning smile. Liam, with a watchful eye, drove us to the beach, not yet legal, but good enough not to get pulled over.

When we got to the beach it was still morning, 10:00 at the latest. We all unloaded and Joanna and Liam walked ahead of us and set up their chairs. The beach was crowded and we somehow made it to the shoreline without being noticed.

Liam slipped off his shirt and dragged Joanna into the ocean, soaking her blue t-shirt. I looked at Lindsey and smiled. She looked towards the ocean then walked to join me by our small set up of chairs and blankets.

"It's okay. You can go." I smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek. "I need to tan anyways."

"You sure?" She asked.

"Absolutely!" I watched her as she ran towards the ocean, stripping off her floral print tank and tie-died shorts on the way, abandoning them on the beach. God she was beautiful.

I lay there for a while, listening to the shrill shreak of Lindsey's laughter as she was splashed with water. After a while of lounging in the sun, soaking in the sunshine, I heard somebody rustling around in the ice chest.

"Lindsey?" I asked, not bothering to open my eyes and look.

"It's Joanna." I opened my eyes and saw her sit about a foot away from me. Her dark brown hair glimmering in the sun.

"Tired of swimming?"

"You looked lonely. I'm hungry anyways." She explained.

Liam and Lindsey ran out of the water to our feet.

"You guys want some ice cream?" Liam asked, laughing so hard from messing with Lindsey he nearly fell over. He better watch it and keep a safe distance from my girl.

"Yeah sure!" Joanna answered quickly.

"We'll go get some then." Lindsey flashed a smile in Liam's direction and sprinted off towards the ice cream cart around the bend of the ocean. Within minutes they were out of sight.

I looked over at Joanna just in time for her to plant a kiss on my lips. I didn't fight back but instead kissed her too. Why, i'm not sure. Maybe it's because I was jealous of what Liam and her had.She pulled away.

"What was that for?" I asked, wanting more. Why did I want more? I loved Lindsey. Everybod knew that.

"I like you Zayn." She murmured.

"What about when Liam finds out?"

"He doesn't have to, this can be our little secret." She smiled then kissed her fingers and pressed them to my lips. She got up and ran off towards Lindsey and Liam, leaving me lying in the sand alone.
