Ch.20

Christina's P.O.V.

Shit.

I lifted my head off of a concrete floor and realized my neck was throbbing. I looked around to see the warehouse surrounding Niall and I, the red velvet blanket draped over our bodies.

"Niall." I turned to my left and tapped him on the chest. "Niall wake up."

"Huh?" He slowly opened his eyes and rubbed them, yawning, then asking in his sexy morning voice,"Have fun last night?" He smiled and kissed my nose.

"Why are we on the floor?" I asked, kissing him back, but on the lips.

"We got a little rough last night, the couch was too small." He placed his hand on my thigh and winked at me.

"Oh." I smiled and kissed him again. Then blushed and leaned my head against his chin.

"It's a shame that wasn't our first time. I wanted our first anniversary to be special." he laughed then kissed my forhead.

"I don't know Niall, the back of your mom's car was pretty special." I looked up at him and blushed more before he snatched a kiss.

"Shall we go home?" He asked.

"I should probably find my pants first." I giggled and then got up, as Niall watched me waltz around in my yellow panties and his polo. How the heck did I end up in his polo? Oh well, it smelled like him. After finding my pants strung over the movie projector, we called a taxi and rode home. Niall went shirtless because I  refused to take off the white polo that surrounded me in his heavenly scent. This would make for nice paparazzi pictures. I could see it now. 'Niall leaves abandoned warehouse with short time girlfriend shirtless. Cheeky.' Ha. Cheeky.

Elena's P.O.V.

I woke up and looked around the room. The light shone bright through the window and I had to squint to see where I was.

Shit.

I fell asleep at Louis' house. I didn't mean to do this. I reached over to grab my cell phone off the night stand where I assume Louis set it. I found it quickly only to find it was dead. I propped myself up and looked over at the alarm clock. 11:00. Holy shit I slept long. I saw a small note and opened it up. My eyes widened as I read the small print on the page, some smeared by tears. Ten o'clock. Ten o'clock. That was an hour ago. Shit shit shit. I got up, and still being fully clothed, ran downstairs only to see another note on the front door.

'Gone to the grocery store with Katie. Be back soon. Louis. xx'

Why was everybody leaving me notes recently? Was I that hard to face?

I ran out the front door and with no means of transportation, sprinted the six blocks that were between Louis and Harry's house. 7 years of soccer really payed off when you were chasing the man you ran out of your life, only to find he was innocent.

I burst in the door to his small house and found Gemma in the kitchen, fixing lunch.

"Where's Harry?!" I demanded.

"Hell if I know." she responded. "Waited by the phone from five to ten thirty until finally running out of the house. When I asked where he was going he wouldn't tell me. Said nobody could know."

"Thanks!" I ran back out the door and when I felt Gemma's hand on my shoulder, I spun around fast and she threw her keys to me.

"You can't find him on foot. Good luck." She threw me a heart-warming smile then walked inside, shutting the oak door tight behind her.

I looked around and found her silver prius parked across the street. New, just like her driver's license. Harry bought is as a gift when she passed her driving test just months after him. I slipped into the driver's side but after starting the car, I just sat there. What was I doing? Where was I even going? I can't just drive around London all day. Or can I? No Elena, that's a waste of time. I can't call him. Harry and I have dated for over two years so places that were important to us were out of the question. Elena, that's it. You're being conceited. Don't think places important to you, think places important to Harry. If your girlfriend just dumped you the last place you want to be is somewhere that reminds you of her.

I put the car into drive and drove towards downtown. There was the resturaunt he had his 12th birthday party. The hotel his grandpa owned. The park where we met. The park where he found his firat dog. The park where he took me when I got back. The park.

I drove to the park as fast as possible without crashing Gemma's car. I got out and ran to the fountain. Not seeing Harry anywhere, I looked around frantically. I walked slowly around the sides of the fountain before finally checking ever bench in the park, when it seemed like I had scanned every inch of the park, I collapsed on the nearest patch of grass, bawling my eyes out. When I thought the world would give way around me Harry was always here. He wasn't here this time. Nobody was here.

Harry's P.O.V.

I stood up from the grass near the lake and began to walk towards my car on the other side of the park. I wiped my eyes and wrapped my scarf around my neck another time. For being the beginning of Fall, it was freezing. I trudged along through the grass keeping my teary eyes on my feet instead of any paparazzi that may have been lurking nearby. I saw blondes everywhere. On the benches, in the cars. Every girl in purple that I could see whilst looking down made me look up. Then I would remember than Elena and I were over and if she did decide to take a leisurely stroll in the park, my hoodie would be the last thing she was wearing. I was beginning to think there were far too many blondes in London. Every single one of them less gorgeous than Elena.

I nearly stumbled over one of the girls, this one crying her eyes out, and avoiding knocking her clear over, face planted the ground. Fucking great. "Sorry." I mumbled looking back at her then picking myself up moving along again. Wait. I spun around to find her blonde hair in a messy bun on the top of her head. Her all too familiar purple hoodie, her green eyes stabbing daggers through my heart. "Elena." I murmured before falling to my knees at her side.
