Chapter 11: What Are The Gods Who Put Us All In One Spot

Alex's Pov:

I see Jefferson's fist hit John's face then I see him fall to the floor. I see Jefferson smirk and walk away. "John" I scream. No one but my friends heard me because the rest of the people were gathered around Jefferson. I run to him and prop up his head. He was out cold. The rest of my friends run over with me. Herc picks him up and I tell him to follow me to mine and John's dorm.

We made it to my dorm and I hastily unlock it. Herc runs to my room and lays John down on my bed (Because it was the closest room). Eliza comes in with an ice pack wrapped in a paper towel. She carefully places it on the red, black, and blue spot on his right cheek. She removes her hand from the ice pack which made it start sliding down his face. I promptly fix it for him and leave my hand on the ice pack. Even though my hand was getting cold I didn't care as long as it helps John. I look at his gorgeous face. His freckles are just dazzling and even though I couldn't see his eyes I already knew how beautiful they were. I feel tears run down my cheeks as I hear the bedroom door close. I look up and see everyone else had left and it was just John and I in the room. I start stroking his cheek and notice how soft it is. I analyze his face and start counting how many freckles he has.

I finish counting his freckles and he has a total of 3,173 on his face and arms. When I finish counting I rest my head down his chest and drift off to sleep.

John's Pov:

I wake up to darkness and a heavy feeling on my chest. The place where Jefferson had punched me was in pain and it was cold. I run my hand over it feeling someone else's hand there and a icepack wrapped in a  paper towel. I look down at my chest and see someone laying there it was dark, so I couldn't tell who it was. The person started stirring so I pretend to be asleep. They sit up, I know because I don't feel pressure on my chest anymore. I could hear them stand up. I peak through my eyes hoping they can't see my eyes open due to how dark it was. I see them bend down and kiss me on my forehead then I hear them say "Feel better Laurens" I could tell it was Alex. Then I hear them whisper "My love."  He gets up and walks out of the room.

I just laid there in my bed not knowing what to do. After about 5 minutes of laying there I slowly get up out of bed and walk into the living room where I see all my friends gathered around Alex trying to comfort him. I clear my throat to signify that I was present. I see them all turn to me and Alex gets up and runs to me

"John are you ok? How are you feeling? Do you need any medicine? Does your face hurt?

John, je suis tellement désolée, j'aurais dû être là et vous a aidé avec Jefferson et je suis désolé de vous ignorer. Je me sens si mal que je n'aurais pas dû t'énerver. Ce n'est pas que nous étions un élément ou quelque chose et-" He says while examining my face.
(John, I'm so sorry I should have been there and helped you with Jefferson and I'm sorry for ignoring you. I feel so bad I shouldn't have gotten mad at you. It's not that we were an item or anything and-)

I cut him off and say

"First of all I'm fine and second of all I don't speak French" When I finish saying that he removes his hands from my face. Which to be honest made me a little disappointed. And he backs up from me.

"Oh yea I forgot about of that. Sorry I've been talking to Laf in French for the past 2 days" He says while looking down at his feet and I think he was blushing. I look over at Laf who nods in agreement. I step to the side so I can see all of my friends faces and say

"Can you guys give us some privacy" I see all of them nod and they get up and walk out of the dorm.

I turn to Alex who was still looking down at his feet.

"Ok tell me what you said in English" I annunciate the word English

"Ok I said "John, I'm so sorry I should have been there and helped you with Jefferson and I'm sorry for ignoring you. I feel so bad I shouldn't have gotten mad at you. It's not that we were an item or anything and-" And then you cut me off" He says looking up at me staring deeply in my eyes.

"Alex it is ok" I say

"No John, it's not I should have listened to you...I was just kinda... kinda..." He stutters

"Kinda... what" I say eying him

"Jealous" he practically whispers.

"Jealous of what" I ask

"Ooh nothing" He says hastily and started looking around the room frantically

Laf's Pov:

All of us were gathered into mine and Herc's dorm. I didn't know what to do. I just wanted to rest my head on Herc's shoulder, but I couldn't because ever since we started dating we haven't told anyone. I guess I had somewhat of a worried face on because Herc asked

"What's wrong Laffy Taff-" He said looking at me

I just look at him with the be-quiet-you-doofus face. Because that is the nickname he called me ever since we started dating, but it was to late everyone was already looking at us.

"What did you just call him" Eliza said looking at Herc suspiciously

"oh oh nothing I didn't say anything" Herc stuttered out while blushing.

"Hercules Laf what's going" Angelica asked

I look at Herc and he gives me the I-guess-it's-to-late-now face

I hang my head and say "well5daysagoHercandIstarteddatingbutwewantedittokeepitasecret" I blurt out

I could see everyone look at me with a confused look on my face. Except Peggy who just gasps and shouts out

"REALLY THAT'S SO CUTE. YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER" Everyone looks at her with a confused look then they eventually realize what she meant.

"AWWWWWWW" they sisters say in unison

I look down at my feet with my face turning severely red. Then I feel a hand on my chin and pushes my head up and I look Herc directly in the eyes. Don't be ashamed Laffy you look so adorable when you blush. I turn red more than I already was and try to look down, but Herc stopped me by kissing me. I melt into the kiss and kiss him back. We pull apart when we start hearing awe's from the sisters. We both roll our eyes and I lean back onto the couch and feel Herc's arm go around my waist and I rest my head on his shoulder.

Peggy's Pov:

Herc and Laf had just admitted to dating and to be honest they were so cute together. We waited 15 more minutes and then I suggest

"guys should we go check on them" They all nod in agreement. Angelica and Eliza walk out first then Laf and Herc then me. I was walking behind them I could see their fingers intertwined. They were and adorable couple and we all knew that they had feelings for each other and I'm glad that they finally admitted it to each other. I've wanted something like them. I kinda had a thing for my room mate Maria Reynolds, but knowing my luck she is probably straight. My thoughts stopped when we reached John and Alex's dorm. There wasn't any sound coming from the inside, so Angelica slowly opens the door and stops in her tracks. We all look over her and see them kissing. We all pull out our phones and snap pictures. All of our phones were on silent so it didn't make the clicking noise except for Laf's. We all heard the click and so did they because they jump apart and look at us.  We hear Laf shout "Merde" and puts his phone back in his pocket. I see Alex chuckle and John just glare at us and Alex notices why. They start running towards us as we all bolt off in different directions. All of us knowing what they wanted us to do .

"ALL YOUR IMBECILES COME BACK HERE AND DELETE THOSE PHOTOS INSTANTLY" John yells

and Alex shouts after him

"Lafayette reviens ici un petit morceau de merde et supprime cette image à moins que tu veux que je t'atteigne littéralement!"
("Lafayette come back here a little piece of shit and delete this picture unless you want me to kill you literally)

I could hear Laf chuckle as they split up and chase after us.
