--Brendon--

People say that you're going to fall in love with seven different people before you get married. I don't know if thats actually true, but its interesting.

Its Saturday morning, and I'm laying on my bed listening to Frank Sinatra. Its pretty boring every Saturday. My mom yells at me to get a life, my dad sits on the couch and watches the news. Its the same thing they do everyday.

I pace around my room, trying to find something entertaining to do. I finally decide on texting my friends on kik.

I look up to a smiling Dallon Weekes. His brown hair is tousled slightly, and his gorgeous blue eyes are full of life.

"Hey Dalpal." I say as he lets me in.

"Hey Brendork," He closes the door, "Wanna go upstairs?"

"Sure." I follow him up to his bedroom.

He opens the door to reveal his guitar on his bed and lyric books scattered on the ground.

"Do you need help with the music project?" I ask.

"Yeah, me and this kid named Kenneth didn't get anything done yesterday, so I've been stressed." He runs his hands through his hair.

I pick up one of the lyric books on the floor.

"Stop there and let me correct it, I wanna live a life from a new perspective," I mumble, "Dal, this is great!"

His cheeks redden as he grins, "T-thanks."

I flip to another page and start reading.

The song is full of love and its like the person is calling out to the person they love. They're basically saying 'How come you haven't noticed that I love you?' or something like that. The song is really cliché. Its a romance song.

There's an unsettling silence between the two of us when I finish.

"Dallon?" I ask quietly.

"Yeah, Brendon?"

"Who's this song about?"

"Look, I know you have a crush on this Ryan guy, and but I wrote this before you started liking him, s-so I decided that one day I would go to your house and I would serenade y-"
