I was shaking because of the sight in front me then I looked back to see the Jace and then the portal start to close I was trapped till the nightmare was no more the demon was finished. I walked and things started to appear almost my own world nice and peaceful no damage no demons but I wasn't fully convinced I looked around to see I was in a street I started looking around I heard my name "Angelina!" I turned where I heard my name called nobody was there I replied "hello? anyone there?" it spoke like I child's voice "yes me I'm here" I turned back around to see a little girl just like me I kneeled down to her hight and she said "hello I'm Aimee" I smiled and "where's your mum you need to be safe" she said "I'm looking at her" I was stunned at her answer I said "I can't be darling I'm sorry" she pulled out a chain what she had in her pocket and showed it to me my dad gave me this before he left" I looked at it and it was the exact same to Jace's chain a tear rolled down my cheek she wiped it away and said "why are you crying?" I said "I'm fine now let's get you somewhere safe" she held my hand I had to protect her. I went into a house and put her into a bedroom closet I said "I will be back but don't come out, here have this shout my name and strike any bad guys" I gave her one of my daggers, kissed her on the head and went for a search for my demon I kept searching every house everywhere then I heard a scream I started running as shouting "No not Aimee!" I stopped in my tracks as I saw a huge demon taking Aimee from where I put her I saw Aimee still had tight grip on the dagger I used my powers to make an ice ramp the plan was to skate to the demon save Aimee and risk my own life for her, I was ready I had my sword and I set off my mind was focused on getting her I was close to her she stretched her little hand out and I took it and had grip then the demon striked me in the back causing both of us to split I used my powers and created snow for a soft landing for Aimee I was centimetres from the ground when I heard a voice Jaces voice say "wings angel" I thought about them and they opened just in time I flew an I was ready to strike the demon in the heart I took my sword out and at full speed headed for the point I shouted "Angelina Winter!" I closed my eyes knowing it could be the end I braced for the impact and it happened I heard a brutal scream from the demon as it fell to the ground and burned to ashes, I fell to the floor I was panting Aimee came to my side and said "wake up mum! wake up" slowly opened my eyes to see her over me crying I said "shh I'm okay now in not leaving you here its not safe trust me I know" she helped me up she said "your hurt your wing its broken" I said trying to ignore the pain "I will be okay" she picked up the dagger and said "here have it back" I said "no you keep it" I drew the pentagram out of ice then made the runes hoping it was right I held Aimee's hand and said "Aperite domos (open home)" the portal opened and I saw home I couldn't see Jace, Isabelle or Alec I said "come on let's go" we walked through and we had made it the portal closed behind us I said "its over I have done it" I heard a voice "Miss Winter who is this young child" I knew it was Hodge I said "my daughter she was trapped in my world and she was not going to make it so I brought her with me" I saw Jace and so did Aimee she said to me "that's dad I know its him" he said "hey Aimee" she let go of my hand and ran to Jace he picked her up and hugged her tight she turned to me whilst still in Jace's arms and said "mum is hurt she needs fixing" I said "Aimee, mum is fine" she said "her wing is broken" Hodge came to me and had a look he said "come on warrior you need to be fixed up" I nodded Jace put Aimee down and she held his hand and left I said "Hodge how did you get out of that container?" he said "we all have our differences" he opened his had a little flame appeared in his palm "I have a bit of dreamer in me not just full shadow hunter, as the saying goes never judge a book by its cover now let's get you fixed up" I nodded and followed him to the medial room.
I was fast asleep when I heard giggling then a small tap on my shoulder I opened my eyes to see Aimee and Jace, Isabelle and Alec. Aimee said "are you okay mum" I stroked her cheek and said "yes I am" Jace said "nice to have you back" I said "its nice to be back" Aimee tried to climb on my bed but she couldn't Jace saw and lifted her up she crawled next to me I put my arm around her and she said "don't go mum please don't" I said "I will never" Jace said "we will leave you to it" he left with Isabelle and Alec, Aimee said "mum make a snowflake I want to touch one" I made one appear and she took it from my hand she said "its soft and sparkly" I smiled and said "when I'm better I will show you something" she said "okay mum"
