I was gaining my strength back a little bit each day getting ready for Jace's Training Day, I was still a bit wobbly but that's because I had demon poison running through my body and my sole was taken so I was pretty much dead. I just had one thing constantly on my mind why would Jace put the forget rune on me, I had been told by Hodge that I was not aloud to use my powers while I recover. I heard a light knock on the door it was Isabelle as I opened the door she said "look Angelina you are the most powerful dreamer we have encountered that much poison should of killed you an that you had your sole taken well that just topped it off, It would be my honour to protect you along side Jace" I said "look you can help Jace also if Alec wants to be part of it he can you guys can join me and Jace on training day I think it will give us all a change to practice she smiled and said "sure and Jocelyn wants to speak to you" I grabbed my phone and said "let's go then" she smiled and showed me where Jocelyn was. Isabelle said "I can't go no further only adult Shadow hunters and Dreamers can don't worry your safe here" I was nervous I said "why can't you please come" she shook her head "I can't Angelina I'm sorry it's protected I don't know why but it is" she gave me a hug and I said "cya later" I put my hand on the door and I went through the reason was if you was a Adult shadow hunter or a dreamer you get a rune of a door lock it will grant you access inside I walked in and it was amazing the view I saw tonnes of books an in the centre was a pool but it wasn't for swimming in it was to lay in an go into hyper sleep or to recover lost memories or dreams. I saw Jocelyn and she said "Angel nice too see you on your feet I see Isabelle has escorted since she always trying to get in here her personality has gone hay wire since you have got here she's so secretive around you but no one else, I said "why did you want me?" She gestured to a statue I walked up close and Jocelyn said "that's your mother she was a dreamer like you till the demons got her" I had a tear in my eye as I touched the statue and noticed a chain was on it I touched it and it sparked a memory of when I was younger and she hugged me and left, I felt hand on my shoulder and Jocelyn gave me a hug she said "shh its okay" I cried more she guided me down somewhere and then said "I'm sorry about this" I looked and she was going to put me in the pool Jace and Hodge ran in and stopped her I said "Jace I'm fine" he said "you aren't if you enter the pool you have no protection in your own dreams let alone anyone else' dreams" Hodge grabbed Jocelyn but as he did she let go of me causing me to fall Jace caught me and I started sobbing "all your family hate me" he lifted me up and carried me out, Alec saw me and said "bro is she okay?" Jace said "a bit shaken" he took me to a room which was long and had tonnes of weapons he said "let's take your mind off it here let's test your weapon skills" he handed me a a sword and I said "where's the practice dummies" he said "we don't need them you are fighting me" I stood about 3 steps away from him I lowered my sword to show I was ready and he did the same I made the first move then he blocked it and started too soon we was fighting each other I used my powers against him and he tried disappearing to confuse me most if the time it did work we spent a good 4hrs practicing trying to get better each time Jace looked a bit tired and in deep thought I put my weapon back and headed upstairs to my room since I wanted sometime alone, I kept questioning myself why didn't my parents tell me I was a dreamer I got a bit if scrap paper and started to write nonstop till my hand hurt the same word over and over "chosen" I finished the last word when I heard a knock at my door I said "who is it?" They responded "its Hodge I want to talk to you" I hid the piece of paper and said "sure come on in" he walked in with a book in his hand he said "you know your mother was a dreamer but your dad was a shadow hunter they kept each other safe like you and Jace when you was born they had no choice but to leave" he opened the book and it was my family album I said "is that why I am so powerful I have both blood of dreamer and shadow hunter" Hodge said "I guess so here you keep this so you can have the memories" I smiled and said "thanks Hodge" he got up and as he was about to leave the room he said "dinner is in 10mins" then he left I looked through the album and I looked like my mum personality wise I act like my dad I came to the last page in the album and it was a letter I started to read it
"Dear Angelina,
We are sorry that we left you but we was at war with the demons I see you have found the album and become a dreamer, Hodge is a good man I trained with him and he taught me multiple things anyway the reason I wrote this was is to tell you that the darkness is coming, I'm sorry Angelina we can't stop it only you can. love from Mum & Dad xx"
I was confused why does everything have to be solved with me in the equation I put the album under my pillow and headed for the dining room trying to act like nothing was wrong.
