So here we are sitting at Claire's,  might I add, beautiful kitchen. With its warm slightly yellow walls, with tea pots and old picture frames of her and what I assume her husband. As I drink my tea that Claire gave I cant imagine why Jace doesnt come here all the time. I mean I understand what he means of not wanting to watch her go but shes so happy. This home is so warm and it invites you in like nothing as soon as you come to the front door.

Claire told me she loved the way my flowers made her house smell. How she didn't like the way other florists kept their flowers, she noticed the little things. Like if the flower was treated poorly, it shows in its life essence.  Or so she said. She gave me a tour of the house, top to bottom. Her livingroom was set with light brown loveseats, a creme colored rug with light pink and burgundy floral patterns and a small t.v in the corner of the room. Very simple and I liked it.

As we walked through the small hallway, she has pictures of her and Jace when he was younger. He always had a huge smile next to her with his big brown eyes, matching hers. Jace didnt seem to like me and his mom gossiping anoyt his childhood together. He was embarrassed,  which made me and Claire laugh. However, I noticed, in some parts of the wall, there was pictures missing. I never asked why but assumed that they were of them and his father.

By the time she was done, it was about eight o'clock and I had to start heading home. "Dont forget sweetheart, you're always welcome here." Claire said to me.

"Thank you." I replied. So me and Jace were off. He insisted on walking me, even if a short distance,  since it was dark now.

"So my mom seems to like you alot." Come to think of it, I really liked her too. She made me feel at home. It was a feeling that I missed from my mother. "I had fun with her.."

when we got to my little home on the corner, I thought to myself that I would love to do this again. "Hey, Chelsea..?," Jace stopped as if thinking to himself. "I would like to hang out with you again. You know, as friend's.  I had fun today and I never seen my mother glow like she did today. So thank you too." Jace looked at me and the way he said that sounded a little nervous to me. But he did read my mind though.  "I would like that."

As I went into my house and saw him walk away, I was glad that he wanted to hang out again.. even if it was just as friends.
